I hope you are well soon. Bein sick is the worst, and when it costs you money it's terrible.

You really don't have to pay those bills, depending on your income the state you live in should have some form of medical support for you.

Hospitals tend to remind me of corporations, so I tend to avoid them like the plague. Money became too important to the profession of doctoring, in my opinion. Like the legal system becoming overly complicated and the ever-increasing rise of the salaries of lawyers; and I've no idea which is responsible for which.

The paranoid schizophrenic in me wants to point out that it's good for business if they keep you sick. That's probably an injustice to all the decent doctors in the world, though. Hope your docs are good people.

I really don't get the whole, no money no care sysytem in the U.S, ok, so I'm not American an I'm sure an U.S citizen could give me some explanation for it but, really, you pay you tax right, so when you get sick I see it as the states duty to take care of you an afford you the best possible medical attention!
In the UK we have the choice to use our (very good but very abused) National Health System or to pay an go private!
I needed emergency surgery when I was living in Australia an even that didn't cost me a cent an the governments of Aus & UK have a reciprecol agreement!
I can't imagine getting sick in the US with say like a burst apendix an the hospital saying 'sure we'll help you, that'll be $3000 please' F**K THAT!

I feel your pain. I am in need of medical care but, I make too much money to qualify for any kind of government aid. (although ive paid my taxes for the last 20 years with out missing a beat) yet, our government can send billions to aid other countries in need.....I dont understand. people in this country illegally get medical treatment for free, free education, in some cases, free housing, business loans with a 2 percent interest rate. I was homeless a few years ago and still didnt qualify for any kind of aid...mind you, I was still working and paying my taxes and living in my fucking car.
