This was my belly at 32 weeks. I'm now 33. Only 49 days left!
I'm happy. Busy cleaning. I don't think the house will ever be clean enough for the baby. And busier than ever with my upcoming fashion show enteries. I have 4 left to finish in a week. Shouldn't be a problem.
Still getting orders for prints! You can pick up your cheap prints here!. Orders received get a free 8x10 print! That's a pretty awesome deal.
Also I've gone through and cleaned out or baby registry. We have multiples of some things and nothing of others. So if it's fullfilled, or you don't see it on the registry, it's because we have it already or even duplicates! We have a zillion baby blankets and crib sheets. I'm sure he'll puke and poop on all of them.

I'm pretty boring other than the fact I'm popping one out in under 2 months. I'm always AMAZED at the questions people ask about beiing pregnant, but I love to hear them. Consider this "Ask a Pregnant Chick". Ask away!

Looks as though I'm in two books this year! Wow! 2009 is pretty rockin'! Along with the SG "Beauty Redefined Book".. I landed another animated book!
Ronnie Werner, Portland pinup artist put out his first volume of drawings last night. I'm so proud of him! A lot of artists talk about doing a book.. but he really did it. And it's FABULOUS! You can pick up your copy here!!!

Also, I'm featured in NW Tattoo ads for Photo-Modern and will have a full feature in March (the month Levi is due) on pregnant tattooed chicks. YEAH! 2009 is a very publisized year for Pistolita!

UGH! I ate too much food! I went to the grocery store today and stocked up on what I hope will last me 3 weeks worth of groceries.... and then came home and made broccoli beef stir fry with rice, and had an orange right after. My guts are gonna explode.
This whole eating for two thing is bullshit. I really don't eat any more than I normally do. I just eat lots of different stuff. If anything, I eat a little less than I would normally, simply because I hate the feeling of my insides TEARING when I eat. So I eat small portions. I hear it's good for stretch marks.......
ANYWAY...
Hope your holiday was wonderful. Mine was snowed in for 5 days. Which turned out to be ok. The baby daddy and I were at his parents house for one evening, then his sisters for the next. It was quite the family festivities for a few days. Every family does Christmas a little different. So it was nice to share it with my new family. Levi, made out like a bandit scoring more stuff than anyone else in the familly!! We have so much stuff for our fetus, that I'm ready to nest and start the baby room. Problem is, we don't have a dresser or any where to put the stuff yet.
For those of you who would like to gift the soon to be Levi Taylor Hucke, there are still a few things we really need.
27 weeks. Only 81 days left. Time is FLYING by.
SG sent me a Christmas present too!! Yay! You can tell I desperately want to be in front of the camera. Someone please shoot me a maternity set. Please! I'm still kinda hot.
For those of you who like to remember what I used to look like....there's a cartfly store full of prints and other goodies for purchase!! Every order gets a free 8x10 while they last!!
(And speaking of prints, I'm sending out a batch tomorrow. Thanks for your patience you guys!)
phew! I am a tired ass pregnant girl today. But things are great now that the snow here in Portland has melted, and I can get around. I was going nuts not being able to go to the fabric store!! But now everything is back to normal, and I'm back to work while my company is still afloat. Anyway.... thank you all for the well wishes and checking in on me. I'm not as good at getting back to some of you, but know you are in my thoughts!

Thank you all for your concern about my current job situation. Things are still uncertain as to how the New Year will affect the business I work for. I work for a friends' small company, and I do the back end HTML, blog writing and marketing for their business. I get paid hourly and work a little over part time. But a few things have graced my path this last week to keep me in good spirits, so I know I will "land on my feet" as someone pointed out.
* I can file for unemployment, and get paid for the last few months of my pregnancy, when most women don't get any sort of income while they are on maternity leave.
* I have a bonus from a side project that I've been working on that will put me 2 months rent ahead.
* Family and friends have been generous helping out in Christmas cards this season, so every little bit helps the bank account!
* Sewing demands have gone up, and I've had 3 projects come my way that have given me financial relief. I love to be in demand. My sewing work has only been advertised by word of mouth, and girls seem to flock to me!

* I'm in the new SuicideGirl Book! I don't have it yet, but I'm dying to see it!! This is huge for me, being on the site for about 3.5 years I haven't been featured in anything until now!! Now I'm in the book! Yay!!!

Taken at 25 weeks, and I'm currently 27 weeks. I need to keep up with my belly pictures, but the weeks fly by so fast!

Baby Daddy Ben and I when my parents were in town last weekend. They came out to meet Ben and his family for the first time EVER. You can imagine how nervous everyone was, knowing that they all had never met, and the pressure was on now that I was 6.5 months pregnant. But despite all the anxiety and build up, everyone got along swimmingly. Mom and Dad got to feel the baby kick. And they brought me a washer and dryer thats super energy efficient! Yay! Best Christmas present ever! Will come in handy when the baby is here. I look so gross in this photo, but realize we were posing by the Christmas tree for "family" pictures. They always look awkward.
* WE DECIDED ON THE NAME LEVI TAYLOR HUCKE - That was probably the biggest announcement of all, and therefore I saved it for last.
Hope you all have a marvelous Christmas, and I am sending out another batch of prints hopefully tomorrow if the snow permits it. We are literally SNOWED in here, and I'm not saying that in the "Portland" way (oh wah, there's an inch of snow on the ground, I can't drive anywhere..wahhh)... No.. this is coming from the Montanan in me.. saying chains help, but you're still sliding on freezing rain and a foot of snow by our place. No one owns snow shovels, snow plows or anything of the sort here. So when it actually DOES snow, you just wait it out. Long story short.. your prints are on the way. I have not forgotten about you. They will be in the mail ASAP!
Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, or whatever politically correct phrase you'd like me to use. I wish you all warmth, family, food in your belly and love. Presents are bullshit. The real reason for the holidays is to come together as people and enjoy each others' company.
