UGH! I ate too much food! I went to the grocery store today and stocked up on what I hope will last me 3 weeks worth of groceries.... and then came home and made broccoli beef stir fry with rice, and had an orange right after. My guts are gonna explode.

This whole eating for two thing is bullshit. I really don't eat any more than I normally do. I just eat lots of different stuff. If anything, I eat a little less than I would normally, simply because I hate the feeling of my insides TEARING when I eat. So I eat small portions. I hear it's good for stretch marks.......


ANYWAY...

Hope your holiday was wonderful. Mine was snowed in for 5 days. Which turned out to be ok. The baby daddy and I were at his parents house for one evening, then his sisters for the next. It was quite the family festivities for a few days. Every family does Christmas a little different. So it was nice to share it with my new family. Levi, made out like a bandit scoring more stuff than anyone else in the familly!! We have so much stuff for our fetus, that I'm ready to nest and start the baby room. Problem is, we don't have a dresser or any where to put the stuff yet.

SG sent me a Christmas present too!! Yay! You can tell I desperately want to be in front of the camera. Someone please shoot me a maternity set. Please! I'm still kinda hot.

phew! I am a tired ass pregnant girl today. But things are great now that the snow here in Portland has melted, and I can get around. I was going nuts not being able to go to the fabric store!! But now everything is back to normal, and I'm back to work while my company is still afloat. Anyway.... thank you all for the well wishes and checking in on me. I'm not as good at getting back to some of you, but know you are in my thoughts!

Thank you all for your concern about my current job situation. Things are still uncertain as to how the New Year will affect the business I work for. I work for a friends' small company, and I do the back end HTML, blog writing and marketing for their business. I get paid hourly and work a little over part time. But a few things have graced my path this last week to keep me in good spirits, so I know I will "land on my feet" as someone pointed out.

* I can file for unemployment, and get paid for the last few months of my pregnancy, when most women don't get any sort of income while they are on maternity leave.

* I have a bonus from a side project that I've been working on that will put me 2 months rent ahead.

* Family and friends have been generous helping out in Christmas cards this season, so every little bit helps the bank account!

* Sewing demands have gone up, and I've had 3 projects come my way that have given me financial relief. I love to be in demand. My sewing work has only been advertised by word of mouth, and girls seem to flock to me!


IN OTHER NEWS
* I'm in the new SuicideGirl Book! I don't have it yet, but I'm dying to see it!! This is huge for me, being on the site for about 3.5 years I haven't been featured in anything until now!! Now I'm in the book! Yay!!!

Baby Daddy Ben and I when my parents were in town last weekend. They came out to meet Ben and his family for the first time EVER. You can imagine how nervous everyone was, knowing that they all had never met, and the pressure was on now that I was 6.5 months pregnant. But despite all the anxiety and build up, everyone got along swimmingly. Mom and Dad got to feel the baby kick. And they brought me a washer and dryer thats super energy efficient! Yay! Best Christmas present ever! Will come in handy when the baby is here. I look so gross in this photo, but realize we were posing by the Christmas tree for "family" pictures. They always look awkward.

* WE DECIDED ON THE NAME LEVI TAYLOR HUCKE - That was probably the biggest announcement of all, and therefore I saved it for last.

Hope you all have a marvelous Christmas, and I am sending out another batch of prints hopefully tomorrow if the snow permits it. We are literally SNOWED in here, and I'm not saying that in the "Portland" way (oh wah, there's an inch of snow on the ground, I can't drive anywhere..wahhh)... No.. this is coming from the Montanan in me.. saying chains help, but you're still sliding on freezing rain and a foot of snow by our place. No one owns snow shovels, snow plows or anything of the sort here. So when it actually DOES snow, you just wait it out. Long story short.. your prints are on the way. I have not forgotten about you. They will be in the mail ASAP!


Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, or whatever politically correct phrase you'd like me to use. I wish you all warmth, family, food in your belly and love. Presents are bullshit. The real reason for the holidays is to come together as people and enjoy each others' company.

*Baby Hats For Sale!*
Working from home has provided me with lots of free time. I'm making everything from baby hats to custom made Amigurumi toys by crochet and knit!! I've had a few requests to start mass making these for baby showers and decided to pass along the info that I'm selling them via my cartfly store! Baby Hats!

And now for a real update....
Things have been really great. I've been so very happy. Pregnancy has been a blessing. It's really changed my mood. I have only cried twice since morning sickness and my emotional swings. Which is good. I only cry if I'm really stressed out. Considering my situation, only being stressed out twice is a miracle. I've been knitting and sewing and working my lil' hands off.

My parents are coming for a visit in mid December, and I'm really excited for them to do so. They're coming out to see me and my belly, as well as meet the other side of the future grand baby's family. I'm actually reallly excited for the whole family to meet each other. I think it will ease a lot of tensions and just bring acceptance into my world if everyone can see that we are all here for each other.

Anyway.. now I'm just rambling.

Hope you are all well. I would love to have photos for you all but photographers keep flaking on me. It sucks, because my tits are amazing and huge, and everyone should be shooting me right now!

Wow.. overwhelming few weeks it's been. I've been so busy starting my new job. The transition from dancing to desk job has been crazy. I'm working for a friends' company. They own a few websites and needed someone to come in and help with affiliate members, data entry, blog writing, press releases and all around organizing. I'm not quite working 8 hours a day.. more like 5.. but it's a start.

Baby Updates
For those of you who've read.. IT'S A BOY!!! A few names are in the works, but I don't really like telling people the names, because people then tell you their opinions about the names.. and we're not really looking for outside opinions. We just want a name that we enjoy and that sounds like it fits in our family.

Life Updates
As I continue to grow and get bigger, I'm enjoying all of pregnancy's little adventures. I honestly never thought I would. I do also like my new job. It's really fun, and I get to work from home for a lot of it, so that's really wonderful to me to have that freedom. Money is rough though.. instead of making $800 a week, I'm making $800 a month. I'm lucky to have some money in savings, but I wonder how long it will last me.

Now.. at 19 weeks... I honestly didn't realize my boobs were still growing until I compared these pictures! Look how dark my nipples are!!!! Hahah


I took this photo to try to show my "linea negra" that I realized I had developed.... the dark line from my belly button and it goes right down to my labia.


This is how I spend a good amount of time. In bed, with my lap top. My belly can't be tucked behind my abs anymore. And I have to build a pillow fort in my bed every night to keep me from rolling on my back. Apparently you can't sleep on your back while pregnant either. Add that to the list of "can'ts"

I know the economy sucks hard balls right now, and a lot of us are min. wagers.. I realize this now that I've stopped dancing.
