Yesterday morning I had the scariest experience of my life. I was at work and what I thought was just going to be a normal morning turned out terrible.
I had a stroke at work. I had a CAT scan done which showed no lasting effects or brain damage or masses, but the doctor told me this could be just a freak occurrence since I'm so young (26).
I honestly thought while I was at work I was going to die. One of the girls in the bathroom was going to call an ambulance and I was so scared I couldn't stop crying.
So for those of you who know me outside of this website who actually contacted me yesterday, thank you so much. It could have been worse, but most people don't even have strokes, let alone when they are 26.
I'm feeling much better today aside from my brain feeling like it is going to explode. I have the day off and everyone from work has been texting and calling me, which really makes me feel better.
I guess length of life is never absolute. Yesterday was a reminder of that for me.
Everyone take care.
