I also went to California last weeksmile

I don't really read sci-fi as such, I am a bit more into fantasy. So I'd recommend anything by my two favorite authors, Jasper Fforde or Neil Gaiman. Fforde is more of literary fantasy author, Typically British sense of humor, but fun and challenging,
