So sorry to hear that.i lost a couple of friends that way,it is the worst way of loosing a person.and I don't belief it's posible to ever truly understand why someone does it.

My condolences, Pesky. My heart goes out to you, it truly does; I know what it's like to lose someone close to you. You feel like the world has the audacity to keep turning, despite it no longer having that special someone still among the living. That's how it felt for me, at first. I found that writing an elegy helped. (An elegy, if you don't know, is a poem for the dead.) Mourning is never easy, and you're never quite the same, but we are resilient, and can get through this. It may seem ghoulish, but I would probably take comfort in the fact that your friend is in a place or state where troubles do not exist. Maybe I'm not as good at empathizing as I thought, but all I can do for you is all I was able to do for myself: try to comfort yourself in this time of profound loss and sadness.

I'm so sorry. It's more common than any of us would wish and we're powerless to prevent it beyond being the best friends we know how to be. I've been there and it surely hurts.
