i'm finding it hard to believe it's already september, and the Grand Opening party for Olde North Tattoo is tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I helped my boss, brettprince build the studio from scratch (it used to be a liquor store!) the entire summer. [and by "help" i mean i held the screws, and tried unsuccessfully in the summer heat to learn the difference in screw driver sizes.), and maaaaaaaaaaaaan did we work our butts off!
my first thought was "holy shit, this place is so huge we're going to need skateboards. or bikes."
. . and now, the paintings are hung, the music is on, clients are in getting worked on, and our party is TOMORROW!!
We even have our own Alissa Brunelli to photograph the party for Tattoo Magazine <3

yes, it's one of those things I can't explain how amazing it is to someone who hasn't done it or has no desire to do so. the fresh flesh, the tension, cold metal, weightlessness, euphoria, spinning in circles, functioning in an alternate dimension. . feel free to ask questions, I get them all of the time, I know you guys have them!
summer has been treating me well, i got this rad bicycle from resident short north tattoo artist Dennis Boseman!!!!
I got to take the new guy out a few times so far, and i love the holy crap out of it!!!!!
