It's been a while, again. I really suck at this updating thing. Truth be told, I just don't really care enough. I'm far too lazy to sit here and write out articulate journal entries, and, I have other things to do.
Life has been a whirlwind of activity lately. I feel as if I hardly have time to get anything done. I am thiiiiiis close to being finished with school, and I am so excited I can't stand it. Although, my crazy ass is considering going back to get my aesthetics license as well. It all depends on my finances. It's something I'd really like to do, but we'll see if I can afford it.
Last week, my husband took me to St Petersburg to see Lamb of God, Gojira, and Machine Head play. We had never been to the venue before, and, I don't think I'll be going back. The show was absolutely amazing. However, the venue was dirty to a point where it was absurd, and it smelled of sewage. I really don't think any of the bartenders cared enough to cut people off once they got to a certain point of intoxication. I've never been stepped on, bumped into, and elbowed so many times in my life. Granted, I am little, I'm 4'10, I may be hard to see, but still, trashed people + dark + my tiny ass = bruises and scrapes. Good thing I didn't wear open-toe shoes. Really, I'm sure I sound like a bitch, but, I don't mind drunk people, I'm just not fond of people who are so drunk they are vomiting in corners and then stumbling back out of the corner just to grab another beer. Oh well, at the end of the night, although I was a little beat-up and sore, I enjoyed it, and I got a Machine Head t-shirt that I love, and I got to see some of my favorite bands play.
The pain medication the doctor gave me is setting in now, and I'm getting fairly dizzy and sleepy, so I'm going to go cuddle with my puppy and watch forensic files or something.

The weather, is freaking awesome. This past weekend, the husband and I had to pass on SGFL camping due to me being a retard and not planning things ahead of time, and the lack of a puppy sitter. So, instead, we went out on the boat with my family. My dad just bought a new boat, and this was the first time actually taking it out other than his test drive before he bought it. It was much fun, until one of the motors decided to die in the middle of the water. Eep. I thought for sure we were going to have to call the coast guard or something, mwahaha. Fortunately, the other motor worked good enough to get us back to dry land, so we decided just to take the boat out about a mile off the dock and go fishing. We didn't catch anything. It wasn't very exciting.

I just want it to be a liiiiitle bit warmer so we can use our pool! The water has been like 50 degrees since we moved in here, and its slowly, slowly getting warmer. Its about 65 right now, but still waaaaaaay too cold for me to jump in. I tried to brave it the other day, but I got up to my nipples or so and thought I was going to die.
I need to get my ass in gear and buckle down with school. I only have 250 hours left until I'm finished, which is about... 7 or 8 weeks. Soooo close to being done. I just want to be finished so I can finally have some time to spend at home. Since October, my schedule has been nothing but work and school, with a small amount of time for sleeping. I'm glad thats finally over. I love my sleep. I do not, love my job. Okay, actually I do. I have really cute old customers who love me, and the occasional snow bird who hates my guts, and it keeps me amused. But, not for long. I've done that job for 5 years now, and I'm ready to be done! Also, I'm not too fond of the hour long drive, every morning. I am fond of the barista in the racetrack near my work though, none of the racetracks where I live have one.
I suppose I should go get something done, before I have to go to school. Its kind of silly, my house is not much bigger than our previous apartment, but it seems like there is SO MUCH MORE to clean. I don't like it. :X So, its time for me to do dishes and laundry like a good.... housewife should. Loves. <3

Busy busy busy! I've been working my ass off for the past month, going to school, and getting ready to move. We just rented a house, which we move into in 2 days, so I'm super excited about that. Hopefully, after that my schedule will open up a little bit more! I want to shoot a new set!!! Eeeeh.
Last weekend, the husband and I went to a little SGFL shindig at brettjay's house. Much fun was had by all. I, once again, had to leave early due to work the next day, but ended up sleeping in and not going to work anyway. Hah. I love my job. Its amazing that I can just not show up, and no one cares. Ah, the perks of being the office manager. Of course, if I don't show up, I don't get payed as much, and no work gets done, and thats just not cool, so I try to do this as least often as possible.
I started typing this update and felt like I had a lot to say, but now that I'm actually sitting here, I can't think of a damn thing. I'm a pretty boring girl. Heh. Annnd, I have to pack. So I'm gonna go do that, now.

How was everyone's holiday? Mine was pretty damn good. I spent it in New Orleans with family. Mostly, I just stayed inside and slept, catching up on all the sleep I've been missing, but I did go down to the french quarter one day and froze my ass off.
Honestly, after spending the week there and driving through all the devastation that is still there 18 months later, I am so thankful for everything that I have. Its heart wrenching to drive through St Bernard Parrish and see peoples' lives spilling out of their homes. It was definitely a feeling that I think everyone should experience at least once. The traffic in the city my sister lives in was CRAZY. Its one of the only cities in her area that have rebuilt and have places to shop, go out to eat, etc, so literally everyone from the surrounding area comes there to do their shopping and such. In order to turn onto roads, people basically just push themselves into the line and pray that whomever is behind them stops. Being that I'm from Florida, this idea wasn't very cool to me, and I made the husband drive. Mwahaha. At any rate, spending time there was an absolutely amazing experience, and I'd very much like to go back.
Now that I'm back at home, I've got a lot of cleaning to do, and starting the 2nd, I go back to work and school. It really doesn't seem all that appealing, but it'll be nice to have something to do. I've basically been playing WoW and spending time with family for the last two weeks. I'm off to try and get some cleaning done and enjoy some more WoW time before the busy schedule starts up again.

Hey! Lets reacquaint ourselves, shall we? I'm Pariah, that one suicidegirl who actually used to update her journal!
That being said, I've been a very very busy gal! Work plus school rounds out to about a 16 hour day. I get time to come home, look at sets and browse some groups, hang out with the hubby for a bit, then go get in bed to wake up and do it all again 6 hours later. Its a lot of fun! I can't wait until Christmas, I'll finally have time off. Annnd, I'll be spending that time off in Louisiana visiting my sister, her husband, and my darling nephews.
I never run out of funny stories about the clients I've been getting at school! The other day, I had a girl who was probably about 19 or 20, there with her mother, wanted me to do something absolutely hideous to her hair, and she loved it. Also, she asked me if there was a way to make it so that when her roots grew out, they would be colored too so she wouldn't have to maintain her haircolor. Maybe I'm rather easily amused, but the question made me giggle in my head a lot. I also had one Saturday who was CRAZY. We did her hair 6 times, and she was never happy with it. They ended up having to blacklist her so that her and her friend (who did the same thing to HER stylist) couldn't come back again. I was with this lady from 10:30 in the morning until 5 in the evening. We did everything she asked, and no matter what, she found something to complain about. I loved it!
Mmm, also, the set I spoke of in my last entry... that was rejected. I'm somewhat glad, too (I didn't get to see the pictures before they were submitted). Cause if it had gone live on the site, I think I'd have died of embarassment. My makeup looked horrible. It just didn't photograph well, or whatever.
I have nothing else to say, so look at this really neat picture featuring my butt, and side boob! Hooray.

Suppose I should update.
Happy Halloween, kids. Or Samhain, for those of us pagan folk.
The other night I went to a little halloween shindig at Lovesome's place. I saw two of my favorite Orlando ladies there, Norma_Jean and Lovesome as well as the ever amazing Photojoe. Unfortunately, I had to be at work the next morning.
Yes, thats right, I'm doing my seasonal job this winter that I've been doing every winter for the past 5 years. I love it, I just couldn't pass it up when she called me and asked if I wanted to come in
That also means I'll graduate school a little bit later than expected because I switched to a night school schedule, but I'll also have a little bit of extra money on the side, as well as unlimited free citrus fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice. Beat that!
I spent yesterday prepping for and shooting a set with Herblish. It was a lot of fun and he was amazing to work with and I can't wait to see the results. Lets hope SG likes them. Cross your fingers for me!
This entry is pretty short and boring, but I have to go get ready to go to school, so I'll leave you with a photo.
Sometimes, I like to put on blond wigs and pretend that I'm a stepford wife.

This makes me very angry. I've been watching the story since it surfaced, and every time I do, I can't help but cry. There is something seriously wrong with our legal system when a family can be allowed to do that to a poor, helpless animal, and then the woman who tries to help is throw in jail. I encourage you to read through the website, and help out in any way you can. Its definitely a touching story.
That being said, I'm making an overhaul on my life. I've changed my diet, and began exercising again. I rearranged my living room and am going to reupholster my couch (i've already done the matching chair). I'm also ridding my life of negative people and people who do nothing but drag me down. Its been a pretty shitty past 6 months or so, and I'm turning that around. This past week, I've cleared my head SO much. I'm glad I have my husband around to help me through this, because, he really is a great source of strength for me.
Basically, I just wanted to get rid of that last entry cause I get sick of looking at the same damn thing. I may edit this one later to add pictures, my husband cancelled the hosting on my domain because he thought I didn't use it, so, I'm waiting for new hosting to be set up.
