it has been simply too long but I thought I[d poke my head in to say a quick hello.

so much has changed, now happily self-employed and have been in the same apartment since my last post going now on my third lease.

I havent travelled as much as I would like to but thats going to be changing soon. I was hoping to go to Burningman again this year but unfortunately it will have to wait until next year

Lets see...what else...? This has probably been the best year for self discovery. I started singing more and have a few regular gigs around town that I guest appear at and just tried out for my first lead-vocal band...its a cover-band so should be fun if I get it...wish me luck! Other than that doing more recording in the studio soon and hopefully putting out something worth listening to by next year.

so this past week I've been doing a lot of photoshoots....
getting back into modelling is always a good way to kill some downtime when in-between jobs....not to mention feel productive and boost the ego, haha. I just wish mor of it was paid stuff.....got some great shots tho...did about 5 shoots in 4 days one weekand ended up with an entirely new portfolio.

I got to be a geisha, an indian monk and a nudie stretched on a pentagram...not to mention getting to shoot without my wig on for once and getting to work with an adorable 5 year old Ball python named Bonnie.

I also got a new job last week....I start pn april 10th as the new sales rep for a downtown Graphics and print shop. Panda gets to wear a suit and run around town meeting clients while wowing them with her smile.....yay!

OMG so much prep to do for burning man! these next three days are going to be brutal!

I managed to land a live-peinting gig for some extra cash the night before I leave....its gonna be tight but worth it.

I did a test shoot with a photographer...the same who will be doing my next SG shoot.

we decided if we're gonna make this next SG shoot good to get comfy behind the cam and take some tests. it was lots of fun and I cant wait to se the rest.....heres one in the meantime...

so in 11 days I'll be in San Francisco! I'll be flying down from Ontario on the 26th and spending a couple days in the city before road-tripping with my buddies 6 hours to the Nevada Desert for BurningMan 2006! I'm so excited, its my first year going to Burningman and I have a feeling already that it wont be my last. I'm literally countin down the days! I need to get out of this city and flex my artistic muscles a lil bit...and what better way to do that then to throw myself into the desert with 35,000 other artists?

so I'm gonna do a breif update.....I'm slowly making my way back into SG Land.

I have a shoot lined up that will blow you all away.....I'm so excited about the theme, you guys are gonna love it! I'm meeting with the photpgrapher tommorrow and I'm hoping to get some shots for my portfolio from it aswell.

trying to get a job together so I can hopefully make some more cash and take a trip before the summer is over. I have this insane urge to get out of Ottawa but I was brutally laid off from my last job last month and things have been looking kinda grim I've never been so broke in my life....living week to week pretty much off of painting sales and small freelance work. I'm trying to get back into my old modelling agency.

I got a new tattoo on my wrist a while ago, I'll post some pics of it soon. I need to get it retouched badly already.

life has been up and down....mostly down but lately I've found I need to focus less on matters of the heart and get my own life together.....job....money....cleaning my house etc. its ME time baby!

I miss you all, thanks for your messages! I'm gonna try and update at least every couple weeks....life as been craaaaaazy!

I've been meaning to write more...and I will soon.

I have many stories about evictions and new jobs, alcohol poisonings and whisky soakings to share.

for now I'll leave you exactly where I was a year ago.....strapped for cash but road-trippin in three days with the gals to Toronto for two days to get silly, cause some havok and show the warehouses the true meaning of 'excess'
