we got to happy ass ranch around 3am on saturday and they wouldn't let us in the gates so we definitely hiked around in the dark for two+ miles and made it in and partied until sunrise. we went back to the car and crashed out for maybe four hours, paid for our tickets (have to support!!) and set up camp. i was so excited to let loose like a mad woman, so we did a pretty crappy job with the tent etc... it was cold and kind of rainy on and off all day. by sunset i had already worn myself out hula hooping, making friends, dancing around the fire, running into old friends; i don't think i walked anywhere the whole time i was there... i skipped, trotted, danced. i can't even begin to describe the beautiful things i saw... i was MOVED to tears when a gentleman played his violin over some electro tracks. i spent the night at the peak of my bliss, passing out smooches to the beautiful people; i watched the effigy burn from a friend's shoulders, we danced until sunrise. my friend gabriel played the most incredible sunrise set and i spent the rest of the morning drinking absinthe with the rest of the sleep deprived delusional kiddos all still up saying silly things around the fire.
