Well, work has been sucktastic lately. I hope it picks up again, otherwise I'll have to work in Fargo for a bit, and I don't want to do that for a lot of reasons. One bit thing is that I prefer walking on carpet instead of cement floors.

Goals:
860 towards taxes
860 towards Japan fund
400 towards tattoo fund
Pay off laser card (200)
Get car checked and fix problems (if they exist). They did. $400 later my alignment is fixed and my rear suspension something or others are replaced. Ish. And I still need to replace my tires so I don't kill my winter ones.
Save up at least 500 for dental work
Continue working at least four nights a week. Goal: 1500/week. It should be doable (with the exception of when I'm out of town).
I would like to make close to 6000 this month if I can, so I can get the house savings started.
Make at least 3000 by Sunday, 6/20.
Buy new shoes.
Buy my brother his fucking GC for Amazon.
Figure out if Mom would like a Netbook. She does not. I'll have to try to find a good electronic dictionary online or something.
Start taking vitamins on a daily basis.
Go to the Monday pilates class. It kicked my ass and was awesome.
Do at least THREE pole tricks a day. One of them must be the shoulder mount.
Try out every fyrinnae shadow I own, take pictures of swatches and looks, add to Fyrinnae Comprehensive list in Makeup Group.
Finish the Night Watch arc from Discworld.
Finish The Omnivore's Dillemma.
Read Nonsense on Stilts.
Continue with OCM with added benzol peroxide topical application at night for the whole month.
Wear sunscreen on face and tattoos EVERY DAY.

Taxes: 940. 1560 to go
Japan: 940. 1560 to go
Tattoo: 400. 1000 to go

Carpet is much better and more forgiving on the body/legs then cement. Impact damage is not good.
Best wishes on the work picking up locally. As a carpenter I've done the out of town working and the commute alone gets costly.
It looks to be a busy summer for you, have a great one.smile

Get your mom a Kindle. Costs less than a netbook, has a dictionary (and Wikipedia) on it, and she can read books.

I might not see you at Flesh Fest after all, to my chagrin. Not feeling well today (or for the past two days) and while I am yet hopeful that I will recover by tomorrow, I have my doubts. My body picks the most wonderful times to get sick. (Today was supposed to be my last day at my current job, too.)

You missed out on Ghostbusters. In a movie theater. Why do you hate America?

Is that proper spelling of sucktastic?

What is a laser card?

We patiently await your answers.

You're a traitor to all things corporeal.

Also, thanks again for being super awesome this week. It was great to finally meet you guys (and get covered in dog fur).

I think that was actually around the time I was originally planning to leave myself - I mean, in previous years I've been more than happy to stay until 4 or whatever similarly ungodly hour, but I was going to be coming with Christine, who had a LAN party well out of town to get back to. Then she cancelled on me and I got sick. Oh well.

Ugh, I hope you fare better than I did. Actually, now, it's not so bad. It was better the next day, and I realized afterwards they had removed an old filling and refilled it, which I think contributed to the swelling. But my mom is a dental assistant, and I don't use anyone she wouldn't work for, so it tends to work okay for me.tongue
