So, who is going to BURNING MAN this August?

If you are, let me know so maybe we can meet up there at some point.

I really can't wait.. we're going to be driving from Ohio to Arizona and playing along the way.
Let me know if I'll be driving near you.. and if you want to offer us a place to stay for a night smile
We're going to take a tent and camp out along the way, but your hospitality would be incredibly appreciated.

So, I'm at work right now. I work at a head shop called Dream Merchant, it's pretty nice.
I sell things like this all day:

he was driving in my city last night, away from home, and while i slept soundly he was freed from his fleshy prison. i don't know how to feel about it.

Give away the stone.
Let the oceans take and transmutate this cold and fated anchor.
Give away the stone.
Let the waters kiss and transmutate these leaden grudges into gold.
Let go.

i was thinking the other day.. (CRASH the thought police break through my door)

maybe the concept of a soul or life after death simply represents the change in consciousness experienced at death. obviously you have no need or use for your physical body anymore at this moment but your consciousness still continues, off to another realm to learn more lessons.

so, really, there is no such thing as death. simply changes in the state of consciousness. you are "recycled" to another form..

I will be shooting a new set for you soon.

But...

I feel a steady flow of creativity has been interupted, and I'm all blocked up.
Help?

This is the kind of house I'm going to help build and live in.

It's a cob house. If you want to learn more about cob, you can start here:

I want to thank everyone for the kindest comments I received on my newest set.

It didn't go over as well as my other sets regarding number of comments, but I understand why.
I wanted this set to show the normal, every day me. Without the heels, all the make up, and other
fancy stuff. Simple and sweet.

I'm glad most of you "got" this idea. My next set might be more... fancy. I don't know yet, I haven't
planned a shoot.. but ideas are floating around inside my head.

If anyone has any recommendations for a future set I would love to hear them.. sometimes I get
"model's block."

Another school quarter started today. Oh joy, beautiful joy.
I'm getting a minor in Crop Science as well as my bachelor in Environmental Science now. My dream
of organic farming must be realized!!

Love to all - it really brightens my day coming on here and talking to you wonderful people.
xoxo

P.S.
Now, to accompany the absolutely darling PUDU of my previous post, here is the ridiculously cute KODKOD!!!

It weighs only 4-6 pounds!! It is a miniature miracle, just like the pudu. To make things even more magical, it lives in the same forests as the pudu in Chile! It can also be found in Argentina.

Of course, like most animals, it is endangered mostly due to habitat loss and human hunting.
Poor kitty.

Here is a quote from Losing Paradise by Paul G. Irwin:
"...
This reality gives us the innate capacity to empathize with all of earth's life forms, to touch the deepest chords of our being, and feel a part of the vast, subtle, mysterious connections and interdependence that we have with all the earth's life forms, animate and inanimate alike. Empathy, the capacity to see through the eyes of other creatures, changes everything. Empathy has a certain magical quality; it is the precondition to caring. Seeing through the eyes of another creature or being makes everything flow automatically: compassion, justice, respect, reverence and love."

Southern Pudu

The pudu is the smallest true deer. It reaches heights of only 14-16 inches!

Active both in the day and at night, it lives in small herds, feeding mainly on leaves, but also on flowers, fruit, and buds.

Because of its diminutive size, it often must stand on its hindlegs, sometimes on top of fallen trees, to reach the foliage.

The Southern Pudu is found in South America, where it has a more southerly range than the Northern Pudu and is found in the southern Andes of Chile and Argentina

The southern pudu is endangered because of overhunting and habitat loss to agriculture and livestock. frown
