I can't even explain how excited I am for Gears Judgement. Those of you who have been waiting for this just as much as I have have probably already seen these, but for those of you who haven't.

Anyways..
1] As some of you who may know that follow my blogs.. My love for Baird has always been unconditional. I've had a thing for him since Gears 1 and knowing that this game is base around him? Swooooon. I don't understand the hatred most people have for him, though. Yeah, he's loud, obnoxious, and I can see how he has the potential to be annoying.. But, that's what I love. He's so quirky and such a smart ass, not to mention I thought he liked Sam in Gears 3 and then he blatantly said he didn't like her when they were 'about to die'. Typical Baird, though. *rolls eyes* Another reason why I like his so much is that, in my opinion, I think he has the best one-liners in the story and also the multiplayer. "Just plain telented.." "Labotimize!" Such good shit. What are your thoughts on Baird, and him being the 'main character' of this new Gears game?
2] TDM, still awesome with new maps? Well, new maps is a given, duh. But TDM is my favorite. Well, Execution is my favorite, since it seems all of the Gears 2 shot-gunners only play that in Gears 3 and that's what I love to use, the Gnasher. I hope they still have Execution.
3] Weapons:
- A] Uhh, sticky nades? Ever since I've used them in COD, I've always wanted them to bring it into Gears. The fact that you can actually throw a grenade in Gears and it'll stick to them(instead of it bouncing off them, they somehow magically getting away from it and kill you)? I'm all for it. Thank you, Epic, I've been wanting this forever.
- B] Two-shot Sawed-off? Are you joking? Sure, this is going to be awesome for the campaign, but for multiplayer? Whoa.. Count me the fuck out. Sure, it'll be awesome to get the kills myself, but I am NOT looking forward to people using that and owning everyone. Not to say that I won't do the same, but man, I thought the ONE shot sawed-off got me angry.. I don't even want to know what this will make me feel.
- C] Beacon grenade / Stim grenade / Hammerbust Mk.I and II? Eh, whatever. I'm very indifferent to these. I don't care if they're there, I may or may not use them, who knows.. I like the Mk.1 Hammerburst, but I'm curious about the Mk. II.
- D] The Markza? The new sniper is rather, intriguing.. From the gameplay, to me at least, I honestly can't tell if their first shot misses and the second shot lines up for them to get the headshot, or are they just aiming themselves quickly with the second shot? I can't really get into giving my opinion for this gun until I figure that aspect out..
- E] Booshka? First of all.. Stupid fucking name. Second, I'm indifferent. I'll need to try it out before I give an opinion.
4] Free for all? Thank. God. That's all I got.
5] Domination? This reminds me of Capture the Flag for COD, which I welcome greatly. I love trying to own all three circles and trying to hold them down. Bring it.
6] Non-Flat maps? Holy fuck yes.
7] Overrun? I'm up for it. If you have to be one of the four instead of picking your own, though, that might suck. What if I want to be Baird, or Cole, or Sofia, but I end up with Halvo? Is that how it is, or can one entire team be Cole or half Sofia and half Baird? I'm curious, and too lazy to look up more details right now.

I was honestly scared for Gears Judgement to be a lot like COD.. I thought so many bad things, like they would make holding down the left toggle for running instead of A for that and dive-roll.. I was scared. Wall bouncing has become so popular and I've gotten pretty good at it, the thought of them possibly taking that away killed me, but I'm happy to see that the rumors were false.

I've been doing a lot more writing and working. Mostly playing Oblivion on my laptop at work and writing when I get home.
I've been playing a lot of Sims lately, too. I would like to show off some of my latest creations.

I've just been a gaming and writing machine. With work and sleep mixed into it.

Hello all.

It's been a while since I've written last, yet again.

Sorry.

I've been up to a lot lately, though. My job is going good and my boss actually wants to get me a Pharmacy Tech license, probably starting around January 1st I'll be in the back again helping with the drugs. I have a great understanding of what goes on in the pharmacy, I've worked in there with him for the beginning of my job there, writing delivery slips and the usual boring shit that he doesn't have to deal with cause I'm technically not aloud to touch anything. But, with being a tech, I can fill scrips but he has to double check me of course. It'll be a lot more to do and less boring than working the front which is the general store part of it where you can buy lottery and smokes and other goodies. Plus it will be a three dollar pay raise, so that's pretty sweet. My boss told me today that he's looking forward to working with me in the back because he thinks of me as a daughter; he's such a sweetheart, and I enjoy him a lot, another plus to the job. My boss = cool.

During work now, however, working the front, is boring as shit. But, I've finally invested in a laptop and it makes me days there much more tolerable. Sure I don't have internet access at the moment, but I have my Sims games, Fallout 3, and Oblivion on it, so I think I'm pretty much happily set. Plus, I adore writing. It's one of my favorite things to do and I love to let my imagination go wild in the form of words. Don't make fun of me, haha, but I write Sims stories. It's actually really fun if you can get all the camera shots you want to help paint the picture and can describe everything in great detail for the reader. The one I'm working on now is about vampires, teehee. I stopped writing the stories a while ago so no one really reads them anymore, but I'm back at it now, and honestly I don't really care if anyone reads them or not, I just love writing them. There kind of for my own entertainment now, I suppose.

It's become yet another addiction as of late, and I enjoy it a lot. Still trying to get the hang of everything that it has to offer, but I like it none the less.

I can't even literally explain how excited I am about this game.


If anyone has been following my blogs, or just knows me in general, I'm always talking about Gears of War, and how much I love this game, and how much I love Damon Baird. He's my favorite character in the games, and now this new one coming out is pretty much about him, and whatever he's done, or so it seems. I'm so, SO excited to see that they've made a new Gears. I was always under the speculation that they weren't going to make any more Gears of War that was in the same time frame as the first 3, I heard/thought they were done after the third one, and that they were going to make more Gears of War games but not involving the characters now. I heard they were going to make another trilogy, but of the earlier times, like when Marcus was just a wee lad. Apparently I either heard wrong or people were lying, perhaps. Giving up my hopes and dreams. But, alas.. My Gears of War fixation will once again be satisfied, and I'm dying to see what this new game is all about.
Who else is as excited as I am?


On another note, I have a new set coming out. The beautiful Lavonne and I shot this set when she did her road trip last year. I love, love weeping willow trees, they are my favorite tree of all time.

I've always gone to this estate every summer since I've been living here in Illinois and it never gets old. I love nature, and love being in it, and once I saw this tree all by its lonesome, not surrounded by anything else to take away from it's beauty, I just had to shoot underneath it. Pocahontas has been my favorite Disney movie since forever, too, and seeing this huge willow tree made me think of the great Grandmother Willow in the movie. I really really hope everyone loves this set, Lavonne did such an amazing job.
