Hello my lovelies.
How was everyone's Mother's Day? Mine was good, although I'm not a mother, I got to go to the White Sox's game because my mom loves baseball, and she's a Sox freak. She actually has been going to these Sox games every Mother's Day for a long time. Even though they lost horribly, it was still a lot of fun.
I made my mom cupcakes, she adores the color purple, so I made lavender cupcakes with white frosting and purple writing gel.
They were SO. GOOD. I never knew I was such a good baker. I usually don't get to try my own creations because whenever I bake, it's usually something I don't like but I'm making it for someone else, so my opinion doesn't matter. I bake what they want, and a lot of the times it just so happens that I hate it. Hahaha But, this time around, I got to try them, and they turned out very nice.

If you didn't read my blog from April 2, 2012, then to sum it up I have OCD really bad for certain things, and one thing I ALWAYS had to be doing was picking at my nails to get rid of the length. But, I haven't picked them for about a month and half now, so ya. They're super long! Yay!

I'm sick right now. It came to me yesterday in the morning when the act to vomit woke me up. What a wake up call. Ever since I did that yesterday morning, I haven't done it since thank goodness. I had to stay home from work though, which made me both happy and sad. My boss is like a father to me (it's a long story), so whenever I don't come into work, I feel really bad because he only has me, the evening shift, and the old lady who works in the mornings, so there's hardly ever anyone that can fill in for me. Luckily, he made his actual daughter do it, so that was good. Yesterday was the worst though, I hate chills, and the feeling like I can never get warm, and then when I do, I start sweating and need to take the blankets off. Today is a lot better, though I still have a headache and chills from time to time, but I'm going to work. I also hate missing days because then that means less money, and I need all that I can get if I want to get out of the apartment life and into a house.
I really, really love where I live, but pretty much only because it's really cheap, I have a huge backyard, I only have one neighbor and it's my best friend and her dad, the apartment is really big with two bedrooms, and I'm going to paint soon, probably in June sometime. I plan on living here for maybe another year or so and then trying to find a new place, so why not paint it and make it all mine for the rest of the time? Especially when the landlord is so cool about everything, he's letting me paint it whatever I want. The only thing I would change is the toilet, because you put an eyelash into it and you have to flush it at least three times, and the location of the apartment in general. I don't like the street it's on. Let's just say there's a lot of activity and the po po are always snooping around. We have nothing to hide, but still, I hate the police. There was this one officer that for some reason didn't like us and tried to say that our gravel driveway wasn't a driveway, and would give my car a ticket whenever he drove by and saw it parked. Note that the driveway is SO off the road only an idiot would be able to hit the car. But, luckily we got that all fixed and he hasn't bothered us since because he's an asshole and we proved him wrong because it's been a driveway for at least the past 20 years.

This is my cat, Peables(pee-bulls). And he drools, a lot. Kind of looks like a Saber-toothed tiger.
I've had this cat for almost 12 years now, his birthday is in August. He looks and acts like her's only 5 or 6 years old, which makes me believe that he's going to live for a very long time. My friends cat lived for 21 years, I have not idea what to expect from Peables. This is probably the first and only cat I've ever met to have such a huge personality, and to have so much love for one person. Yes, he is in love with me. If we're not in the same room, he'll wake up and walk to wherever I am and sleep there. If I move, he moves, it's like he always has to have me within his sight. He's a huge baby, too. Or, maybe I just babied him too much.. Either way, it's really cute, but can get really annoying, too. This is probably what happens at least 10 times a day, and it's only when I say no to him, which is about 10/25 times.
"Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. "
"You're really cute, but I'm obviously busy. Sorry Peebs."
"Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. "
"Okay, I get it, you're looking at me."
"Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow. "
"OKAY. STOP. Go away."
*runs away as if I had ripped his heart out, runs into bedroom and literally screams*
"MEoooOOOOW.....MEoooOOOOW......MEoooOOOOW...."
"SHUT UP!"
"..Mew..."
5 minutes later, repeat.
Don't get be wrong, I love him to death, but with him ONLY loving me SO much, he's always, Always begging me for attention as if I hadn't pet him in 2 weeks and I just pet him 2 minutes ago. He's a HUGE whiner, a big baby, and a momma's boy. But, I love him. I guess it's a love/hate relationship. Another thing he does with him being such a needy asshole for attention, is when I won't give him any, then someone comes over and he meows up a storm with them, almost to rub it in my face that he's not wanting my attention, but someone else's, so then when they pet him, he looks DIRECTLY at me every time. Like saying, "You bitch" or something along those lines. Yup, love/hate relationship. I've actually often thought of if he was a human, how would he be? Just.. Every woman's nightmare? Hahahaha I feel like he would call or text me every minute of the day.
Well this is getting ridiculous, so.. Ya.

Hello my lovelies.
I worked C2E2 on the last day of the convention, so I didn't get to take as many pictures as I would've liked, but it was still so much fun and so awesome to see everything. I worked the booth with Radeo, Jaclyn, and Cleo. These ladies are so gorgeous and funny and just fun to be around in general. It was a lot of fun hanging with the girls. Here are all the pictures I took.
Walking down the long ass hallway to get to the convention. Had I known that MapQuest would fuck me in the ass, even though it's done it to me plenty of times before, it took me to the exact opposite side of where the convention was, and I ended up walking down a 75637 mile long hallway, only to have to walk down two more that were the same length to get to the convention.

A very lovely and sweet member bought us pizza, it was so good. Thank you again.
The best Boba I've ever seen, and heard. His helmet made him talk funny. I loved it.
Chris Uminga was the artist that inspired my tattoo artist and I. I have Leonardo on my left outer calf, but slightly altered.
His sword is stabbing a piece of pizza, for those of you who have never seen it, here you go.
Anyways.
So awesome.
It was a lot of fun, I love nerd conventions the most. I cannot WAIT for Wizard World in August.
I've actually been re-thinking who I want to dress up as. It has come to my attention that most of my friends who were going to go and dress up as the 13 Captains from Bleach with me, are now either not doing that anymore, or can't go anymore. So, I've been looking around at pictures of other people I could be. I always try to find someone that looks like me, so I don't have to do anything devastating to my hair. When I did Skarlet, I simply switched up my hair slightly and put red highlights in instead of turning my whole head red. If anyone can look at me and think of any good characters to dress up as that I look like, please let me know! I need ideas so I can start making my costume.
I've always been very fond of Tifa, but I am unsure.

I bought jelly beans from jellybelly.com recently and got them in the mail the other day. I got Kiwi, Cotton Candy, Berry Blue, and Birthday Cake Remix. They all taste so good except for the Birthday Cake one. I have a lot of mixed feelings about it, because when you first bite into it, it tastes really good, but then you start to get a popcorn flavor. After you swallow though, it goes back to tasting like birthday cake. It's confusing, and I'm not sure if I like it.

Hello my lovelies.
How was everyone's Easter? I enjoyed mine, just went over to my mom's place and ate ham and leg of lamb with baked potatoes, veggies, and deviled eggs. A few days before Easter my mom and I got together and colored Easter eggs together while having a few beers. I love spending time with my mom.
Here are the results.
I took the stickers that came with the kit, and instead of using them as mouths like they are intended for, I turned them into heads of a super man, and also his maiden.

I'm very excited to be attending C2E2 tomorrow, I'll be working the SG booth with Radeo and some other beautiful ladies. I'll be bringing my prints as well, so they'll be available for purchase from me at the booth, and of course I would love to sign them. I got new nail polish the other day, so I decided to decorate them accordingly.
I'm also going to bring my Chewbacca back pack with me for the ride.
Speaking of conventions, who should I dress up as for Wizard World in August? I obviously don't want to re-wear my Skarlet costume, so I need some ideas so I can start working on a new one. My friends and I were thinking of showing up as the 13 Captains from the anime Bleach, I was thinking of being either Kenpachi, Byakuya, or Sui Feng.
What do you guys think?

I've been listening to these songs a lot lately.

The event planning is going very smoothly. I got in the mail the other day some of the decorations I ordered, and I have to say I'm very pleased. I ordered these Magic Pearl Jelly Water Beads. They come in a bag of 100 and they're about the same size as a tiny pebble. When you put them in water, they have to sit for 8 hours, and they blow up to about the size of a bouncy ball, and they are really squishy and slimy too. You can't handle them too much because they break fairly easily, but they look so gorgeous if you put them in vases.

I had a lovely weekend. I hope everyone else did to.
What did you do, anything fun or exciting?
I've been really busy lately getting ready for the summer. Setting up an event is a lot harder than I thought, and time flies by way too fast and the next thing you know, it's just around the corner and you're not ready yet. I'm trying my hardest to get everything worked out, and so far it's coming along nicely. I'm trying really hard to find the money so I can set up a candy buffet, I never realized how much candy is when you need to buy it in bulk. This is along the lines of what I'm aiming for.
SO. DELICIOUS.
You're all going to be really proud of me. I have OCD and one of my little ticks I always do is pick my nails. I don't bite them, I pick at them. I've picked at them to the point where I make my under-nail exposed and bleed. I honestly don't know why I can't stop, it seems so easy to just.. Not, pick them. But it just always came naturally to me. Whenever I was nervous, pick. Whenever I was scared, pick. Whenever I was content and happy, pick. BUT, for the past two weeks... I haven't touched them, and I don't know why. I just.. Haven't had the urge, I guess? This comes out of nowhere, and it quite honestly weirds me out a little. I've been doing this all of my life, and then just randomly two weeks ago I just.. Stopped, and didn't think about it. See?
I'm still trying my best not to touch them. I've been wanting to only file them like crazy now and keep them looking nice. I like making them look nice more than I like to ravage them, so this is good.
I drew some Bleach characters recently. I like how they turned out.

Besides looking at hotness all day, I finally got Skyrim. This game is beyond awesome. I chose the to be a Dark Elf my first way through. I don't even now where to begin on what I love most about this game.

I've been neglecting my Gears 3 and have been playing this for the last week. I'm sorry Baird! I'll play you again soon.
At work, when I'm obviously not able to play Skyrim, I'm back to playing this.
I always come back to this game. Well, any Pokemon game in general. I don't know why, it must be just the fact that I can be a photographer, but I always loved playing Pokemon Snap on the N64. But, sadly, I don't have an N64 anymore. I wish I did, I would play soooo many games on it all over again.

The only other thing really is that I'll be in Las Vegas around the end of July this summer. I can't wait, I'm so excited! I've been to Vegas before, about 4 times, but I've always been underage so I couldn't really do anything but admire the lights, watch horse races, and drive to the Grand Canyon and back. I've ridden the scariest ride on the top of the Stratosphere, the X-Scream.
My set Pale Blue Eyes as made it over a 1000 comments! And it's all thanks to you guys. I'm so glad everyone likes this set so much. I really love it as well.
Hopefully this fourth set is the charm that makes the front page! Mr. Bubble, Hot Sweat, and Secret Hideaway rest in peace, but thank you again ScottSmallin, Writeboy, and Salome for shooting with me. I'll always cherish those sets.

Besides looking at hotness all day, I finally got Skyrim. This game is beyond awesome. I chose the to be a Dark Elf my first way through. I don't even now where to begin on what I love most about this game.
The gorgeous landscaping.
The different kinds of things you can be.
The enemies you'll face.
The intricate, and rather pretty skill tree.
The awesome music people are inspired to make.
I've been neglecting my Gears 3 and have been playing this for the last week. I'm sorry Baird! I'll play you again soon.
At work, when I'm obviously not able to play Skyrim, I'm back to playing this.
I always come back to this game. Well, any Pokemon game in general. I don't know why, it must be just the fact that I can be a photographer, but I always loved playing Pokemon Snap on the N64. But, sadly, I don't have an N64 anymore. I wish I did, I would play soooo many games on it all over again.

Ever played on a giant teeter-totter, 866 feet above the ground? With the X-Scream, you can! Its space age, yet simplistic design resembles a massive teeter-totter or a Vegas rollercoaster unlike any other ever seen. X-Scream propels you and several other riders headfirst, 27 feet over the edge of the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower. Try not to scream when you go over the edge — you don't want to scare the other riders! After being shot over the edge, you'll dangle weightlessly above the Las Vegas Strip before being pulled back and propelled over again for more.
There's 3 other rides, or activities, at the top as well.

I promise you, I'm never going on the X-Scream again. That terrified me. Don't get me wrong, it was fun as all hell, but I made it through without it somehow breaking and letting me plummet to my death, so I'm good on it. Once is enough. Hahaha
