So, after 2 months on the road I made my way back to Atlanta a week ago. I stayed here for 3 days before heading to New Orleans with 3 of my 4 favorite girls to help a friend who owns a casting agency.

After a month of waiting in Texas me and Adam finally married on May 10th, but a week later I had to head back to Atlanta to get back on track with my work. Today 2 of the writers, the director, and another cast member from Far From Eden came over and we did interviews. Then spent a few hours after hanging out. I'm really looking forward to filming that show, the script is amazing, and director is incredibly talented. I got word that we will be doing some pick up shots for the film WITHIN, and it should be finished in post production about a month after that wraps. I have a couple other projects in the works but those are currently at the forefront.

As far as Adam goes, looks like we will be stationed in California after all, but they have it set up so they are currently deployed 4 months gone, 2 months home, 4 months on, 2 months home.. and they are trying to change it to a rotation of 6 months gone, 2 months home, etc.. fucking stupid shit.. and they wonder why there is such a high suicide rate there. That said, I'll be living in Atlanta working on my career for the majority of the time, and the other time in California at our home, or visiting other parts of the world. How the next 5 years will play is anyone guess. I guess we will see.

On day 11 of a cross country road trip. Me and two of my closest friends packed up, on a bit of a whim, and took off. Not sure how long I will be gone, but we are currently in Las Vegas. Tomorrow we will be heading out for L.A. for a few days before making our way back to Wichita Falls, TX. I have no idea how long I'll be staying there but after that I'll be flying back to Atlanta.

We started in Atlanta, went to Birmingham, Graceland, Wichita Falls (where we spent the weekend with my soon to be husband, Atom, and hung out with his amazing friends, hit Sedona, the Grand Canyon, then here in Vegas.

Here are some pictures from our trip:

Things That Have Ended

David and I have separated and are getting divorced. Its neither persons fault. He truly is one of the most amazing people I've ever had the privileged of knowing. I can't imagine anything I'd ever want to change about him. We had a wonderful marriage, and love each other deeply, however our needs are very different. We both tried to sacrifice what we needed to make things work and ultimately realized that wasn't sustainable. I will always love him, and think fondly of our marriage and time together and I wish him the best in his journey, as he does the same for me.

When it came down to it there were a lot of things about who I am that triggered issues for him and that effected his ability to be happy with me. He will find the person that doesn't cause that sort of pain for him though, of that I'm sure.

I love this picture of him. This was him reading to me from his journal while I took a bath at the end of our relationship.

David:

So with that I lovingly say goodbye to David. Its been a wonderful, enlightening ride. You've been there with me through my lowest lows. You're a good man. You will make some woman very lucky. I feel lucky to have shared the 4+ years I shared with you.

Love,
Me

Things That Have Begun

Since the end of our relationship I have met the man I undoubtedly know is my soul mate. We will call him Atom until/unless I get his okay to use his real name on here. Atom is, well.. there are no words. I'm weird. Definitely a different breed. Atom gets me. Me just being my weird ass self doesn't trigger issues for him. He is kind, intelligent, inextricably honest, and funny as shit. So in short, he's perfect. I would say that things are moving fast with Atom, but when its right its right and time no longer applies. You'll all know what I'm getting at soon enough. Till then, here is a video and some pictures of us:

In other news, I've been focusing on my acting career more. That and rebuilding my life. All good changes I'm ready for, however things are very unsettled right now, as tends to happen during Saturn Return, but I feel really grateful for how things are focusing in my life.

Here are a couple shots from between takes on the last film I worked on.

Thats all for now.

Update time:

So, I finally started utilizing my etsy.com page; Started a Bonanza.com page, a webs website, and a flicker page. Needless to say I've been busy. Between that and running the business and finding time to create, and of course everything else has been strangely amazing.

That said I am officially a weldor (this is not a typo, a welder is a machine while a weldor is the person who operates the machine). David and I have finally launched our eco conscious custom home furnishing company which we call *drumroll* ReWorks Home Furnishings, however I plan on incorporating all the different creative avenues I enjoy into it as well. Anyways we were really excited and then, while laying in bed one night, I realized we could easily help another effort thats very important to us (helping the homeless) by offering 10% of our profits. So, thats what we are doing.

Anywho, today we should be putting up another item in the shop(s) which I'm very excited about as this was the first project we started. Its pretty much like that around here.. lots of projects going on. Anyways, here are links to two the shops: (personally I prefer Bonanza.com to Etsy, but more people are familiar with Etsy.. that said.. choose whichever you prefer).

and to see more pictures Flicker of course:

Antique School House Chair featuring Flower of Life pattern in Ebony finish

for those of you into sacred geometry this will probably mean more to you.. otherwise its just a really cool piece. I wont go into how many hours I spent making the pattern and laying it. It was totally worth it though!

and here is a chair you can see on my flicker page, but I don't have it listed yet.. its a hammered steel childrens chair. It has been given a rust finish and sealed with several clear coats. Anyways, here it is:

In other news I've moved into an awesome house on a lake with a full basement that has 10' ceilings. I love this place. In other other news my house got robbed a week after moving in and they stole everything. My mac, my laptop, my 42" flat screen tv, my wedding ring, a camera David bought me for my birthday (that he was going to surprise me with), tools, cash,to name a few things... but my absolute favorite thing that they stole... *drumroll* a can full of papermate pens. eeek wtf! seriously.. my pens?! lol.. whatever. It is what it is.

Also, I've been 100% raw for over 10 months now. Its amazing. 90% of my diet recently has been kale salads.. luckily I make a pretty amazing salad. Ugh.. I need to go get more kale.. cravings.

........and....... I'm going to be 28 on Friday (Christmas Eve)! Happy Birthday me. biggrin

I haven't logged on here since March, i believe. I've been very busy and taking some time away from the internet since I've spent so much of my time on it. Anyway, life is good. David and I celebrated our 3 years together and 1 year married anniversary. We are as blissful as ever.

I saw a couple questions about how the raw food thing was going. In short I have been 100% raw for 8 months. I feel wonderful, my skin glows, my teeth are whiter than I've ever remembered them being, my hair is extremely healthy and growing like a weed, and I can't help but smile when my baby (who is also 100% raw) comes running to you if you have a salad or fresh fruit or seeds. David has been 100% raw for 5 months now and is basically a raw chef at this point. He is constantly in the kitchen whipping up the most amazing and delightful foods. I do not recommend going 100% raw overnight unless you are an extremist, however. That is how I did it, and it was harder than the gradual process of replacing 1 meal (like doing smoothies for breakfast) and then working your way up until all your meals are raw. I just know that I would have failed had I gone gradual so I needed to go 100%. I still go through phases of detox, but they aren't too intense anymore. I really couldn't be happier and while I do still crave the old foods (I have had some food addictions I'm releasing) I couldn't imagine eating those foods anymore.

So, I guess I wont be reporting a lot. Just that life is good. I have experienced many transitions in the past 7ish months. More than I will get into, but I have been spending my time focusing on being a more spiritually, mentally, and physically evolved being. My life has changed in ways I cannot even being to fathom getting into, but life, as I've said, is good and beautiful, and a process. Definitely a process. Certainly an experience.

That said I hope you all have been well. I hope your lives have been changing and evolving in a positive direction. I hope you are all moving towards greater levels of enlightenment, as I am striving towards that goal myself.

In Lak'ech ala k'in.

Namaste.

love,

Onie

and.. me and David, absolutely exhausted.

and me. my hair is past my shoulders now (even longer than in this picture).
