i lived in a haunted house when i was a kid....i dont have the findest memories of that time!

You're right about that . . . . animals frequently see things that people don't.

We live with a "spirit" or ghost or what have you . . . . we've had numerous contacts and sightings . . mostly when I've been renovating the house. I've seen her clearly on a few occasions, and both of us have caught glimpses of her passing by or through a room . . . She's short, old, wears her hair up in a bun, wears an old-fashioned dress. She has made physical contact with me a few times . . . . once, when I was sleeping . . my wife was in the living room, and saw some huge bug and let out a scream . . . . next thing you know, I got shoved hard on my back, waking me up . . . shoved so hard, that I sat up in bed and said out loud - what the hell was that? There have been other times when she just pokes me. The whole thing was unsettling at first, but we got used to it. Hard to explain, but its never been a threatening kind of thing, just her being around from time to time. When I re-did the kitchen . . . I ripped everything out, and built an entire new room. There are suspended lights over the island, and one of the bulbs kept blowing out. My wife finally yelled out loud - - dammit, would you please stop doing that!!! It never happened again! etc etc.
Many years ago, there was a pineapple plantation here, where our neighborhood is now. I think there may have been a house on this site . . we've seen her walking up stairs . . . my house is one level. My neighbor has had some odd things happen also, stereo and lights going on or off . . . though they've never seen her.
You should live in that house . . . might be fun! ha ha

ps . . our dogs often look up at "something" in the front hall, and start barking.
