crazy night at work.............

i think i just officially turned into a blob of jello

i'm on my way to the beach in a few hours to go visit one of my best friends. i'm going to Delaware. i've never been to a beach on the east coast outside of north carolina so i'm a bit excited. plus i love the beach more than life itself. growing up on one and then moving to the mountains where i'm land locked makes for a not so fun time.

i spent 2 hours in the mall th eother day looking for a bathing suit. most stores have already pulled their suits for the season and the ones left were either to big or unbelievably grotesque. so now i'm stuck with having to buy a severely over priced suit at one of the tourist shops by the beach. we used to make such fun of the beach torists growing up. how easily they were ripped off and how badly they sunburned. now i will be one of those being ripped off. at least i don't burn. i have naturally pretty dark skin. it's gotten lighter and lighter over the years spent in the north. one of my relatives likes to joke that during the summer i change ethnicities.

i once was not allowed into a bar because the bouncer swore that the girl in my ID was black

speaking of bars things are picking up business wise so i am pretty content with my jobs right now.

i got a membership to the ymca so i can work out. bad idea. my body is now rebelling against me for putting it through 90 minutes of power yoga. i haven't worked out in years. they say to keep at it and then you get used to it. it's all i can do to lift my coffee cup to my face.

well i'm off to fill up my gas tank and be racked with guilt over it fo r the first half of my trip.

happy independence day to all the US members and SG's. today is a momentous day in history that so many seem to forget about when scarfing down hot dogs and beer while watching the fireworks.
on that note i'm not a big fan of fireworks. i'm down right scared of them. it's a long story from childhood.
anyway i work tonight down at the club. don't know if i'm dancing or bartending. it's nice not having to go into work till 9:30. especially when it's 3:00 now and i woke up just 30 minutes ago.

wish me luck, money and balance tonight (I dance on the worlds slickest bar with many a drink on it).

i worked my tail off and got out of work early. i'm off for dinner and drinks. then i have to go back to work around 11. i fell happy and content right now. today has been a good day

P.s it's my birthday

worked it our between the two jobs. things are looking up. i paid all my bills today and have a few bux left over which is always a good feeling.

my birthday is tomorrow, i will be working like i usually do. i don't invest much into my birthday. last year both my parents forgot. sunday i got a call from my mom wishing me happy birthday, saying that she hopes it is as memorable as the day she had me. so fucking memorable that she can't get the day right. she was only off by about a week. i would have rather not gotten a call at all. oh well. this happens every year just about.

so yeah, thats that. i have the day off today so i am gonna play outside and mow my lawn. it's getting pretty jungly and the neighbors are starting to whisper.

did i tell ya'll i made a pie the other day, a fantastic concoction of strawberries, raspberries, and a cream cheese butter flaky crust. de-lish. i have pictures i'll post

so i'm not sure if the fine dining restaurant is working out for me. my boss is being a dick and it's been really slow for dinner. the economy slowing down and gas hitting four fucking dollars really puts a crimp on things. however, bartending at the gay club is fantastic! people will forgo a meal before they give up on booze! they offered me a full time position so i am super torn and don't know what to do . i'm not one to bail out on a commitment, but i got to make a living. i figure i will give the restaurant a little more time to pan out.

my stomach hurts so bad right now and i don't know why. i ate some oatmeal but it did'nt help . i hate being nauseas.

there have been some interesting sets lately from hopefuls. some good, some not so good. oh well. it's time for me to go shower and pass out.

here's to the economy tanking and taking everyone down with it

so i rounded out my semester with a 4.0. pretty sweet. those who just waft their way through college always amazes me. i am paying big dollars to be there so why not make the best of it. those who fuck off should really drop out. it would save them so much money in the long run.

started 2 new jobs. one is fine dining serving the other is bartending in a gay club. they couldn't be more opposite. i like them both though. they both have fun things to offer up.

it's may and it's still 50 degrees there is something terribly wrong with the world. all i want to do is lay out in the sun. but for now i have to do it with a sweater and long pants on

this site is getting huge. i have seen some good sets lately. i am definetley a technophobe and must admit i don't even understand how to submit a set anymore. i miss the days of just sending in a CD through snail mail. <sigh>. but growth is good for SG. i feel though that they are outgrowing me, we'll see.
