ahhh... what i would give to have the weekend back right now....

new hair extensions =

had them done today... i sooooo cant wait to rock them out tomorrow night!
and if new hair extensions weren't enough to put a big fat cheesy grin on my face... i also got a sexy new digital SLR camera this week (a Nikon d60 for the photography train spotters out there...)

all i gotta say is... be afraid........

BLAH! it's Wednesday....it's cold... worked sucked last night... and i would absolutely KILL for some chocolate right now, (but cant seem to find the energy to get dressed and brave the ice and snow to walk across the street to the store.) Nevermind. I may not have have chocolate and earnings from last night... but at least I have hard nipples due to the cold and this blog to aimlessly rant to.

Gotta look on the bright side I guess...

So anyways,
I just thought I'd share, for those who are interested that I've finally done it! I've submitted a couple hopeful sets to the site! (yay!) .... the first one will go in MR on March 14th...and the other one I only submitted today (so god knows what will happen with that)....

The yearly awards ceremony for the kind of music I make is coming up and I've been shortlisted for best vocalist! (whooo hoooo!)

If you can be arsed, and would like to help me out... I would feel very warm and fuzzy if you went to

So, other than that... there isn't much going on in my life at the moment.
work has me feeling a bit disgruntled.... as the asshole to gentlemen ratio of customers coming through the door is for some reason greatly disproportionate now. Every man wants to touch, wants to take you back to his hotel or just wants to chat your ear off for hours without spending any money on you. Im starting to have trouble biting my tongue, especially when saying "No you cant touch".... or "No I will not come back to your room and sleep with you" only seems to bring on more begging from their parts...
Where have all the gentlemen in gentlemen's clubs gone?

*sigh

If i didn't have an amazing man in my life at the moment, I swear I'd be a total man hater.... but that's the unfortunate nature of the beast I guess!

Anyways, I best go shine up my stilettos and put my war paint on!

SoOoOoOo.... I finally got the guts to submit my application to model here. (eeeek! *nervous*)
Well... not nervous about taking it off... I LOVE BEING NAKED! haha! (in fact it's all part of my day job now since I started stripping a few months ago)... but I am a bit nervous over the thought of possible rejection. Especially since I know that in being part of a very small 'niche' music scene where everybody knows everybody and everybody loves to gossip, the MOMENT I am turned into a "SG Hopefully" it will undoubtedly mean a lot of 'raised eyebrows' in my direction.

Ironically, the dance music industry which is supposed to be open minded and centered around creativity and self expression, can be one of the most oppressive worlds to be in if you are a girl. Everyone expects you to be a 'poster child of modesty' because if you are female, you must first prove that you have true talent, that you are more than a pair of tits in headphones and that you would never use your god given assets to build your career up quicker than a man! (because that wouldn't be fair to those with winkles between their legs now would it?)
On one hand I understand it, but on the other, I think it's such a shame that women are often made to feel embarrassed about their femininity. OoOoOoooh the amount of times I've been at the hotel with other DJ's from my record label getting ready for a gig and have faced the words... "You cant go to the party wearing a skirt! go put some jeans on!" because supposedly bearing your legs on stage means that you are trying to show off to make up for a lack of talents... or something like that.
Shamefully, for a long time I went along with this. Maybe it was a good thing at the time, but now... I've reached a point in my career where I have NOTHING to prove to anyone anymore. Taking it off, both here and at the strip club where I work, is my rebellion.

Who knows, hopefully if I make the cut for SG i can start to change some minds. I'm not the saviour of the female reputation in the breaks scene, but I would love to make the point that ladies don't have to be ashamed of their sexuality, and YOU CAN HAVE TALENT AND BE A SEX KITTEN at the same time! forget about music, that's part of what being female is all about!

The whole idea of "If you've got it, Flaunt it" has always been (in my eyes) a greater statement of feminism than the grow out your body hair and burn your bra stereotype commonly associated with the movement anyway.

*whew* sorry... end rant.

That being said I guess now all I have to do is wait and see huh? : /

I'd just like to let evvvvveryone here know... that you can see my tarty lady bits in the flesh every Tuesday - Thursday at Stringfellows Angels on Wardour Street in Soho... (you cant miss me, I stick out like a sore thumb amongst the sea of amazonian silicone injected blondes, but just in case I'm nowhere to be seen ask the manager to call Vixen... yeah.. that's my stage name.... HORRIBLE I know) haha!

Anyways,
Nudity aside, life is good at the moment. Another year has arrived and I'm feeling super positive. My music career seems set for nothing but goodness and I've seriously made it my goal to take a good ol' crack at ticking as many things off my 'list of things to do before I die' as physically possible. (becoming an SG one of them of course!)


I've got a feeling that this year is going to rock! .... so bring it!

Now, Im off to pry myself off the couch and get some things done in the studio before returning to the world of "work" tonight.

crazy night... messy day after... fabulous gig tho!

A formal introduction to the insanity that is me...



I am a geek, I like doing boy things like making music, watching war films, shooting guns, and going to strip clubs... but saying that, I am totally a girly girl when it comes down to it... I live in miniskirts, high heels and black eyeliner...(even when doing the above mentioned things like working in the studio and shooting guns...) I love dressing up, having wild hair and in general making a spectacle of myself whenever possible...

When it comes to myself as a musician.... uff.... It would take all day to type everything there is to say about that! So the shortened version of that story is this: I started DJing Drum n Bass in America when I was 15... by the time I was 16 I started touring all over the US and started dabbling in production eventually falling in love with a genre called 'breakbeat' ... at 18 my first single was signed by a Uk record label... which lead to me running away to england... From there the past 4 years have been a whirlwind of long nights in the studio co-running several record labels and jet-setting to exotic places for gigs...
(The list of countries where I have played / performed includes America, England, Canada, Russia, Spain, Germany, Belgium, France, Croatia, Hungary, Malaysia, and Serbia *My biggest passion other than music is totally traveling and experiencing new places / different cultures*)

My main focus in music right now is my 'electro rock' project Sex & Circuitry alongside Jim Davies (former guitarist from The Prodigy & Pitchshifter)... it's pure 'guitar driven electronic filth'.... highly recommended that if you like your 'dance / rock fusion' stuff that you give us a listen!

Apart from music my other loves include graphic design (which at the moment happens to be my day job), art, photography, attempting to play guitar (learning at the moment... but still stuck at it), dance (both classical and exotic) and rather randomly... speaking russian (da! ya govoryu po russki!... but no, I'm not russian... i just happen to love the language)....

Other than that there's not much else to know! If I've left you intrigued... watch this space for my shameless self promotion / art / poetry / occasional randomness and rants...
