Work is consuming my LIFE, but I fucking loves me some good times with Jager so I work through the hurt to get to the awesome.


Last night I was doing a little bit of arts and crafts for our HELL-O-WEEN parties this weekend.


I also did something else Jager-related last night...

got this little guy yesterday by Hollywood at Bamboo Studios in Oakville. Still needs some orange shading, but it works nicely with the uncoloured SG tattoo above it lol

I feel like life is passing me by while I'm busy trying to schedule it.

QUICK AND DIRTY RUNDOWN:

-went to the MTL tatt con and saw some of my favorite SG frenchies

-met Twwly suicide and gushed how much I love and admire her ideals and lifestyle and follow her blog religiously. If you're an eco-holic who wants to read about what it's like to really LIVE it; go get addicted to her blog. Her personal views on child rearing and motherhood are also incredible examples of living naturally and nurturing your children.

-moved out of my 1st appartment.

-moved all mine and Ginty's crap into my parents' basement.

-moving into our new place November 1st. I'll be alone for this, as Ginty will be on tour, so I'm not sure how this will pan out...

-went to the east coast with The Creepshow and got to visit my best friend lousytattoos and his awesome wife and pup, plus get a little more tattoo work done on my left leg.

-Ginty's band the creepshow just released their third cd They All Fall Down and are about to embark on a month-and-a-half long North American tour. Following this he'll be home for 4 days, before heading off to Russia to begin the second leg of their CD-release tour across Europe. He is sleeping [snoring] beside me right now, but I feel like I already miss him.
I know what it's like to have him leave on tour, since it's a big part of his life, but it really doesn't get any easier each time he leaves.

-I cannot sleep in an empty house. (hense staying at my parents' this month, and saving rent by not paying for somewhere I wouldn't be able to sleep in.)

-If you haven't heard the creepshow go listen to them. Seriously, they fucking rock. I'm not saying this as a bandwife, but as a legitimate fan who's loved this band since long before I knew my Ginty.

-work has been INSANE. I've done nothing but schedule and run events the past month and it's only gunna get busier until halloween. This is our craziest month and I feel like I barely have time to breath.

-since Halloween is my favorite season and my birthday is 2 days before, AND Ginty was away on tour LAST YEAR for all of it, I was hoping to fly (yes, fly) down to California on my birthday to meet up with the band and see their Halloween shows, but work has been far to crazy to fuck off for our busiest weekend.

-I turn 23 in 3 weeks.

-I have been so busy with work and being a band-aid that I have had not time to shoot since my trip to NYC. I'm getting antsy going this long without modeling and I really hope I can schedule a couple shoots in this month, cause I really do miss it!

-I am sick with bronchitis right now and these sleepless nights do little to help.

-I miss Renna, MattA and Atlea. Long or short; distance is still distance.

-I am doing okay for money right now and I've been happily self-sufficient.

-I am kind of really bummed and a bit confused about a lot of the awesome sets rotting in MR. Do you think Slick will ever be bought? I really thought it would, especially after I submitted another, but now it's looking like neither will be bought. Like I mentioned, I don't really need the money, it's just be nice to make front page again.

-I went costume shopping today and decided to make my own instead.

-I am tired and I am going to sleep.

EDIT: a set just went live today with less than 150 comments and only 94% love. I'm really having less and less faith in the whole "member review" process every day... there's obviously not a solid outline as to what makes front page and what doesn't, so why have it at all?
I think they should go back to just staff picking sets, as opposed to forcing girls to lend free content without the sets being guarunteed to be bought. Staff has good taste and I have faith in their choices; so why bother with everything else?

MID-TRIP UPDATE!!!

Well, boyfriends and girlfriends, I'm here in the big apple!

I'm staying at an appartment in south Harlem (only about half as scary as it sounds) that Fynx found online for us to sub-let for the week for only $375!!! Can you believe it?! And it's nice too!!!
The guy who owns the appartment is in between roomates, so he put an add out, and we snagged ourselves a home away from home for the week! He' totally chill too, and the furthest thing from creepy, which is a huge relief.

Here's where we're staying, just at the cusp of Central Park!!!



The bus ride here was looong. And when I say long, I mean 14 HOURS worth of long!!! It was scheduled for 12, but we got help up at the boarder with people trying to bring fruit across, and making a big fuss about it. Like, relax; they have apples and oranges in the States too. I'm sure your kids will get by without a snack for the next 2 hours before the next stop.

Also, the bus smelled like piss. No, ACTUAL piss. For some reason this bus had the most putrid bathroom I've ever smelled. Fynx and I sat at the very front, to be as far from the origin of the smell as humanly possible.

But it wasn't all bad; the bus had outlets and free wifi, so we occupied our time watching movies on my laptop and surfin the 'net. (do people still say that...?)

The Montreal Art Show is quickly approaching, and I'm stoked to see my Quebequois girls!!!


I started taking part in a sexy Toronto workshop called The Keyhole Sessions. Last week was my first time modeling for it. The work shop was the 2nd installment of a project called "Girls On Film", which is an erotic photography workshop, as opposed to theirn usual erotic life drawing sessions.

It was a great turnout; there were 5 models (including myself) and 28 (:eek photographers that took part!!! When we posed there were so many people that it sounded like a massive hoard of papparazzi!

One last thing before I go.

I'm regretful to say that I've been a little discouraged lately. I have 2 recent(ish) sets in review, both of which have high comment counts and seem well recieved, but I just don't see them getting picked up.

The last couple weeks I've been seeing sets with far less attention, by girls who are far less active get bought and as much as I hate to say it, it's starting to kinda get to me.

I've been on this site for nearly 3 years now and I have shot 12 sets in total. I have kept every one of my rejects in member review, (with the exception of 2 multies I shot with Fynx before she was archived), because I want to show how I've really worked for the ones that do get bought, and how I've improved.

Well, of those 12 I have had 5 go live; one of which was an Ontario girls multi. I am super grateful and thankful for the the ones that have made front page, but it still stings a little to be batting less than 50%.

Anywho, this doesn't mean I'm about to archive, or stop shooting, or take everything down, because I love this site and will stay on it for the amazing community and friends, even if another set is never bought again. I just wanted to blow off some steam and give a little rant.

Hello my lovely internet boyfriends and girlfriends!!!

Here's a little quick and dirty blog while I'm at my parents' house doing online work.

I'm loving my new position with Jagermeister. It's incredibley stressfull at times, since everything is so time sensative, but I love it none the less.

This Wednesday 5 ladies and I will be at the Molson Ampitheatre in Toronto for a show, including Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Hell Yeah and a personal favorite of mine; White Cowbell Oaklahoma!
My best friend had told me about this band a few years ago and I fell in love with them the first time I got to see them live, while I was working one of their shows.

So I am stoked for Wednesday.

I am modeling for a project called Girls on Film for The Keyhole Sessions on Tuesday. It's a cool spin on life-drawing sessions, where the models are generally tattoo-free and all-natural. The Keyhole Sessions are cool because they include alternative models and fetish posing. I'm really looking forward to it.

So that's Tuesday and Wednesday covered. Thursday will consist of packing for NYC and tying up any loose ends before I go, Friday I have two shoots scheduled for last minute money and then I'm off to New York with my lady love Fynx!!! I'm so excited to see the big apple for the first time!!!

I fucking love my job...




Hey there internet boyfriends and girlfriends!

I am in a very hot and stuffy internet cafe, wasting time before my boss at Jagermeister emails me next months events.

News: I am attempting to give up smoking. I've never been good at "weening" off anything, so I'm trying cold turkey. Today is day 3 sans cigarettes. It's been generally okay, but I get cravings when I'm doing something I would normally smoke with. (ie: drinking, driving, walking anywhere...) I'm hoping I can keep this up because, aside from the obvious health benefits of not smoking, I'd save about 25-35 bucks a week and I wouldn't have to freeze my ass off in winter.

Besides that, I had always thought that the Belmont cigarettes I smoked were generally vegan-friendly, since they filter with charcoal as opposed to animal lard and they do not have any published accounts of animal testing. However, someone on formspring informed me that Benson and Hdeges, which produces Belmonts, is owned by a company in the states that is known for cruel animal testing with their products. So although I am not directly smoking the brand that does the testing, I do not like the connection, and organic tobacco is far too expensive and a hassle to self-role.

Anywho, all this adds up to me attepting to "butt out". I'm not making any promises here, but I'm giving it the old college try.

...And now for something completely different.

I've recently found myself moving up the Jagermeister ladder (or "Jadder", as Ginty has been putting it) and getting to not only work events, but actually run them as well. The job requires setting up the bars with Jager visuals before the events, purchasing the Jager for sampling and bar, doing wrap reviews for all events, scheduling girls to work the events and figuring out rides, and making sure everything runs smoothly and all parties are satisfied.

It's a shit-ton more work then just showing up and working an event, and it's been REALLY damn stressful so far, but I effing love the brand and I love the guys I'm working with and for. I'm really hoping this new responsibility within the comnpany will stick, and will be a new job for me because despite the stress, I'm really loving it!

Since Spazzy was born a feral cat, she lived outside on her own before being rescued by Toronto Animal Services. She's just a tiny little thing, and probably ended up having to defend herself from other cats (ect...?) for food. Because of this, she is VERY defensive when encountering other critters. We learned this yesterday.

My friend Alison cat-sat Spazzy for me a couple weekends ago, and she and her partner fell in LOVE with her. She sent me this yesterday, cause it reminded her of Spaz:

As much as not having internet at my place is a bit of an inconvenience, and as much as I miss this site and all my other guilty plessures, being disconnected from the world wide obsession and cable TV has actually been kind of liberating! I have been reading so much more since I moved out...

This past week I went on a bit of a literature spluge at Indigo, and a wicked little second hand bookstore I stumbled upon in Toronto. The first book I read was Skinny Bitch.



Shazzy and Renna have been telling me the glory of this book for a year, and I finished it in one day.

Whether you're looking to lose weight or not, this book is a MECCA of information and infinite wisdom when it comes to how food goes from farm to plate and just what kinds of chemical crap we're stuffing our faces with every day.

EVERYONE and their cousins should read this book. It got me to really consider just what I am putting into my body every time I eat, and how it will make me feel/react. I especially recommend this book to all my vegan bros and hoes, since the book is packed with organic, vegan resources and food suggestions.

Seriously; go read it.

Following this beaut, I bought and re-read Chuck Palahniuk's Invisible Monsters.



I hadn't read it since I was 17, so it was like a brand new story! I loved it just as much the second time around.
Apparently, according to imdb.com, there is a movie in production, based on the book. Jessica Beil is rumoured to be playing the main character. I am eager to see how the adaptation will turn out, but also a tad worried that Hollywood may ruin one of my favorite books.



I finished Invisible Monsters last night when I couldn't sleep and started on my next scolastic adventure today with another re-read, Go Ask Alice



This is the published real-life diary of an annonymous 15 year old girl whose life spirals out of control when she enters a world of drugs and addiction. Again, it's been years since I first read it, so I'm enjoying the story all over again.

Aside from these, I bought Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale and Oryx and Crake, Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, a coffeetable book of "rare archives" of Marilyn Monroe and Darcey Steinke's Suicide Blonde. I've been on such a literature binge lately, and I hope it doesn't stop when I eventually get internet again.
