I like the practice
In the first photograph, if you could turn your head slightly to your left and show something closer to 1 1/2 eyes, maybe better, bringing the viewer into the shot.
Not in all cases, but in this one, with your beautifully interesting face, the lines and geometries would be a bit more dynamic if slightly turned more, you know what i mean?

You are right, it IS difficult to shoot self portraits, but not impossible, especially when people like to look at you.

Really tough to do self-shoots. I admire your efforts.
