Yeah that picture is really cool. And wow, I know what you mean about your boyfriend being your best friend. With me, it really is like that. I can't understand how people that supposedly love each other can barely know each other and not be friends. I'm still with my boyfriend though, so I can't say I share your pain. But I can't imagine what it would be like to lose that, cause like you say, it is far more important to have a friend than a guy to sleep with. I mean, there are guys everywhere, and you're a cute girl, and you and I could find a guy to sleep with really easily. But someone who can just really get you, and share all those things with you... let's say most people are lame or boring. And I can't imagine how you must find them as lame and boring as ever.
All I have to say is: be strong. This situation is temporary, and having lived this experience with that guy can only make you wiser and stronger. You certainly must feel weak and vulnerable, but these hard situations are the ones that shape you the best. In fact, the worst it is, the stronger it'll make you. Keep your head up. You'll get over it.

Sorry to hear that, I think many of us have been through a difficult breakup like yuors although, truly, no two are alike. I'm just hoping you find your way out of this soon.

A lot of people say compromise is the key to a relationship. I figure that isn't really true... not having to always compromise is the key. I hope you'll find someone you don't have to compromise with.

Hang in there. It's the springtime and people get loopy with relationships. Something to do with the hormones.
