Walk away from the lights and into the long January night, and you could be the only person left in the world. Just the swirl of your breath in the air and the soft cracking of snow underfoot to distract you from the fact that, for once, you can really hear yourself think.

Here's to the cold places inside and out- to the bitter wind that comes when the fire dies down, the hours right before sunrise, and the months when everything sleeps. To loves lost and paths that drifted apart in the fog.
