1)Photos from a day spent in the redwoods 2) new hats up on Etsy (including some bridal ones) 3) and yes I will be at Wondercon next month:
1) Photos by Julia Comita for Black Lotus Clothing. This tree was large enough that the photographer, makeup artist, and I were ALL inside of it for most of the day, with plenty of space to move around. The gash I am standing in was from a lightning strike.

2) Readying my shop for wedding season:

And, (3) I will be at the SG booth at SF Wondercon on Sunday, April 4th. Come by and say 'hi'!

Hello, all! I am back from Mexico and totally exhausted. I have some pictures to share, and TheRightBastard did a fine job of blogging the trip over on Travelpod, where he will be continuing to keep track of his own adventures through Southeast Asia and India over the next several months.
I know we look all sunny and bright here, but that's because the pictures from snorkeling in the bat cave at Gran Cenote would've been too dark.
More pics on my Flickr.

Goths in Hot Weather, nach?

Wanna touch my leezard?

And, really, there is nothing that cannot be communicated with a good pictogram.

As of Thursday, TheRightBastard and I are off for vacation. Leave a message after the beep- we'll be here:

So, Q decided it would be cute to post to Facebook oodles of pics of me from the PhotoBooth program at work. We use it constantly to send quick pictures to online customers when it's something we dont have up on the website. So of course I had to share:

I am exhausted from two days straight of Edwardian Balling!
Here's some pictures of the pieces that didn't sell at the Ball- most of them sold! The main feedback I got from people was that they were too heavy to go on hats, or for people with shorter hair. This l;eads me to think I should get one cast and do resin versions, but I have no idea where one gets inexpensive casts made. Anybody out there ever had anything custom cast? Ideas or suggestions?

meanwhile, another gem from HeadlessBill, who also has a photo of me on the front of Germany's Foto Hits magazine right now.

Making, making, making. I'm vending at the SF Edwardian Ball this year, and my house is covered in antlers..antlers on hats, antlers on wall hangings, odd steampunk deer friends...

Last minute Xmas shopping?
We finally got the Haute Macabre shop up and running! So far there is just a shirt, but we have oodles of plans in the works, including some awesome jewelry. Besides, you gotta start somewhere! After much fretting on how to make something that was accessible, affordable, comfy, casual...oh, and fashionable, I think we did pretty good. available in the Haute Macabre Shop.

Also, my pre-New Year's resolution is to get my own Etsy store up, running, and stocked in time for Valentines Day shoppers. The first two are done, and there are more craft supplies in the mail to me than i can even comprehend. Oh, the hats that shall be.For now, however, there are a couple of Very Cute Deer picture frames for sale, with lots more stuff to be added in the next several weeks. Two Weevils Etsy Shop
