A series of totally disconnceted thoughts-

-I noticed on ebay that a couple of people are selling SG stickers- I wonder if they're the screwed up ones that we gave away.
-Has anyone else discovered Nixion yet? She's in limbo, too. Apparently I barely got to the name in time. What are the odds of that?
-I'm off to download some stuff on my incredibly SLOW version of Kazaa...I've heard so much on the site lately about the Lovemakers I guess I'll check 'em out. Anything else I ought to be hunting for?
-By the way, thanks to reprobate and Neccessitor- I can post piccies now. YAY!

Has anyone evr been to Morroco? I try to travel every couple of summers, and this is my summer off. But I'm thinking towards next summer. And Morrocco sounds nice right now. I mean, nice in a third-wold charm kind of way. In a no-showers-in-hotels kind of way. In a dusty, camel- scented, 100 degrees in the shade, inadequate transportation kinda way. Yup. Definitely my kinda place.

Wow, the boards are ultra-boring today. Who cares what kind of stereo I have? And who thinks I want to get off my ass to go find out, since I have no idea. We need better topics. And in accordance with my theory that you can't bitch unless you are going to do something about it, I'm going to make it my mission to start better topics from now on. Wierder topics. More thought-provoking topics. Most importantly, topics Al can't find twelve boards allready devoted to.

I have been informed by the Powers that Be around here that my status has been upgraded to On the Calendar. That doesn't mean I know when my set is going up, or even which set is going up. But it does mean I'm getting closer and won't be stuck in Limboland forever! Hey, it's a step in the right direction.
The new dog is settling in pretty well- she's afraid to walk down stairs, but otherwise isn't showing too many signs of trauma. The local squirrels are a little worried, though.

Suddenly, I have another dog. Actually, my roommate does. After bitching an moaning the entire six years I've known her about how she wants a greyhound, today we go to an adoption thing at the track and suddenly there is a greyhound in the car going home with us. Her name is Nadia and she actually has been retired for a couple of years, but her adoptive family split up and brought her back. Sucks for her, but we lucked out. Not only is she housebroken (most retired racers aren't) , she's used to cats and small dogs,she's been to obedience classes and agility training. Now if she would just get used to my little dogs yelling at her, she'd fit in fine.

I haven't been on much this past week- hope I didn't miss anything too exciting. It's springy outside and I just haven't felt like spending too much time inside on the computer. Especially since my computer lives in the basement in a windowless room. But hey, I've got a few minutes while my calzone dough rises, so here I am! (Mmmm...making little tiny spinach calzones)

Oh, and I finally got to see Secretary. I'm not sure I've ever found a movie really funny and really sexy at the same time before. The best part was that in the video store I had the box and this woman came up to me to tell me how wierd the movie was and try to talk me out of renting it.

OK, just to clear up any confusion caused by yesterday's entry, in which I noted that all the season finales I cared about are gone, I am NOT talking about Buffy. As some of you are aware, I have a serious addiction to Smallville. Not that that's any better.
Anyhow, today my roomie came home with an armload of boardgames, so it looks like we're set for summer rerun season! Good, I was getting really tired of Boggle.

I got my posting pic back, but it remains the hateful evil one. One of these days I'll get a cute one.
Tonight was the last of the season finales I care anything about, so I guess that officially means it's time to build Halloween costumes. I have to build my dog a paper-mache head and give him time to get used to wearing it. But first, I think I'll go work on my pics.

I have no posting pic any more I hope this means I get a new one. I heard we had a site crash, so that might explain it. I'm rather thrilled by the Jhonen Vasquez interview. Maybe he can make me a damn Zim smiley. I keep finding sites claiming to have them, and it's always some really run-of-the-mill alien head. Wow, that's a phrase you don't use too often.
OK, now I realize that I have no pics of any kind. That sucks. I'll have to fix that, I guess.

This has been the strangets two days! I have tried to entertain my poor friend from SF, and everything imaginable has gone wrong. The fisrt night I wanted to take her and my dogs to the Lucky Lab, but got there at 12:30 and they close at 12. So we went home and got drunk. Last night we wanted to see a show at IC Mummie, which apparrently heard we were coming and immediately disconnected the phone, turned out the lights, and hid. Really. Portland hates me. So anyhow, we came home and got drunk again. And that's the fun I've been having.
