1) Photos by Julia Comita for Black Lotus Clothing. This tree was large enough that the photographer, makeup artist, and I were ALL inside of it for most of the day, with plenty of space to move around. The gash I am standing in was from a lightning strike.

The California Redwoods??? That only about an hour drive from where I'm living in southern Oregon. I'm moving back to Portland, though; I miss it something fierce!
