YIPEE! I got the car!
Thanks everybody for cautions and good advice on it, but it turns out to be fo' real. Still have 4 years and nine months of the five year bumper-to-bumper left, so no worries. I've never had a (nearly) new car before, so I'm incredibly impressed with all the stuff that comes with it. Super roadside assistance, dent protection (they pop dents of free for five years), some kind of stain gaurd inside where if I stain it and can't get it out, they get it out, and if they can't, they reupholster it. It's nearly dogproof.
Meanwhile, I'll put up some pics from the SGPDX holiday par-tay. Our gift exchange rules were that in order to steal a gift, you had to perform a dare from the person you are stealing from. So this is me, drinking a fishwater gimlet to steal a Jack Skellington messenger bag from kengineer. Don't even ask about that Wolverine figure, or where it was prior to being my swizzle-stick.
