Also, in many interpretations, karma isn't even a good thing. It's just another manifestation of maya, the great illusion that one tries to escape.

i never cared much for the idea of karma. to me, it was too similar to the christian idea of heaven and hell, in that it became a replacement for the purity of actions.

for example, where christianity says "don't do bad shit or you'll go to hell", karma says "don't do bad shit or you'll get what's coming to you later". and conversely, where christianity says "be good, so you go to heaven", karma says "be good, so good shit gets done to you".

fuck that shit.

i'm more about the idea of "random acts of kindness". goodness for goodness' sake. purity of action, not out of fear or some search of reward.

Love, you should know as well as anyone that anything foolish enough to bite me usually dies within ten minutes or so.
