It have been a holiday here in China. Pretty long one actually. And we certainly did put that one a good use and went to travel.
The weather have been amazing, no less than +30 degrees every day. And it is not even summer time yet. So you can consider +30 as a spring weather over here. Every one is warning me about the weathers over the summer time but come on, I'm Finnish. We are used to extreme weathers. If i can take even -40 degrees, how come i wouldn't survive with +40?
But back to the trip. We went to 3 different cities. Traveled by trains and buses.
And what can I say? It was the best trip I ever had in my life. Weather was amazing, had a group of great people with me and enjoyed every bit!
In the city where we stayed the longest, we rented a villa for us. And you can believe it was so nice to be able to avoid hotels and instead live together with your friends. So much more relaxing and hassle free.
All the 5 floors were ours (except you can see only 3 from the pic), with 6 bedrooms, 4 balconies, kitchen, dining room, living room, 6 toilets and so on. Certainly enough space for everyone.

Tired traveller.

Trees under us were bamboo trees so the forest was cleverly named as bamboo ocean.

Enough pics already? I certainly think so!
As much as I lovelovelove to travel around in China, it is also very tiring. You never know what to expect and you really need to be prepared for anything. And I really mean for anything.
But I guess that's supposed to be part of the charm of traveling, right?
Now off to put myself ready for a job interview (for kindergarten). Would be so great to get that job! Wish me luck.

As usual, some pictures and this time even a video. SG really seem to be against my videos and haven't let me upload any for months now so I guess youtube is the way to go then.
And some photos again.
Today I am lacking with words, blame on tiredness so don't expect too much from this post.
Next time I try harder.

Some party stuff

And warm evening walk with hang over.

And no post without mirror pose.

Next week I am getting a new camera.
It is world's cutest pocket size Canon, only sold in Japan atm.
And my friend is bringing it for me from over there.
As much as love my current piece of shit, it is just too old and crappy.
We had many good years and it did serve me very well. So I will miss it.

As usual, been spending my days studying and enjoying the city. Sunny spring weathers _were_ here but now it's just raining every single day. Sure ya, that's also part of spring so just need to be patient. Well ya, enjoy the "light" rain for as long as it lasts and after that will start rain season for some while. Awesome.
At area Shanghai 1933, which is enormous Slaughterhouse with endless floors, halls, stairs to unknown places, ridiculously expensive restaurants and unique shops and so on. You cannot even see half of the building in one day. And u know what was the best part, most of the huge halls, rooms, everything, were totally empty and none of the doors were locked so you could just walk where ever you wanted and discover, well, anything. And believe me, some of the places where creepy. Way creepy.

Then something more traditional, Yu garden.

And some Bund.

Cutest police car.

My favorite food, ever. Xiao Long Bao. Seriously, i could just live on these. The soup inside of them is just something so heavenly.
Funny enough, while in Europe, Xiao Long Bao was for sure the thing I missed most from China.

Pah. I also has a video to add. But for some reason the site doesn't let me download it.
Some other time then, i hope.
For to the end, just to make sure that u will be bored for my face for a very long time, few photos more.

Now off to bookstore to do some shopping.
I love books and could live in a bookstore. I would be a happy happy bird.
Yesterday for the first time since I started to study here in Shanghai, i just had enough. In the evening when I was doing my home works, I was just screaming and wanted throw all my study books out of balcony. As much as I love my studies, it is just getting a bit too much. Every week we have at least 2 exams and I have been getting A from every one of them. Ok, there have been few A- but whatever.
The speed is just maniac in the school. One month ago I didn't speak a word of Chinese and now I am expected to write and speak it pretty well (but of course, just some basic, easy conversations). And matter of fact, our school books doesn't even have English anymore, all in Chinese. Which is fine for me, I have no problem with following the speed but it is just so fucking tiring.

And cos of the school, i really feel I am wasting all my free time in here. Every day after school I go directly to home, rest, sleep few hours and after waking up spending the whole night till 1am with my home works and studying to exams. And after sleeping with good luck 3-4 hours, I need to woke up at 6am to school again.

Also cos of being so tired, I am in very bad mood every day. So II haven't been very good company to anyone lately.
But thank god for weekends. Since I don't have absolutely any energy to meet anyone or do anything during the weekdays, my weekends are fully planned and In the end I always up doing so many things during those 2 days that in the end, on Sunday, I am even more tired what I was during the week time.
Clever girl, right?!

I though that Finnish people are the ones who knows how to drink. But nah, wrong, wrong, wrong.. Chinese are the ones who really knows the meaning of heavy drinking and partying. I'm a amateur compared to them.

And finally Bund is open. It\s been under construction for ages for Shanghai World Expo 2010, which is coming in a month or so.
Looking forward to see all possible pavilions from different countries. I'm especially loving the Finland's one (haha, surprising!) called Kirnu. The simplicity of it totally attracts me. I hate everything complicated and colorful.

Take a quick look of this and this.
