This weekend has been lovely and full of creative endeavors. Some of them involving masks...

This one was for a masquerade party

Tomorrow I'm off to school - a very full day- advanced studio production in the morning, biology in the afternoon and astronomy lab in the evening.

I still need to buy more books, $$$. So expensive!

Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

xx
Moxi!

ps; I just got an iphone! What are your favorite apps?

OMG. What a wonderful boobies! I'm still thinking about the softness of your hair and the nice smell of you when I hugged you at Club Nokia in LA. I'm sad we didn't meet each other after the show, but I'm pretty sure it will happen sooooon!
Love love love,

My favorite app is Shazam, you let the app listen to a song on TV / radio, etc and it'll identify it ( if it's on iTunes ).

Definitely Shazam. Pandora too: you type in a song and it gives you a couple hours or more of programming with songs you probably like. Great for workouts.
I use iRecorder for taping stuff, StayInTune for getting pitch and tuning my uke, Screenplay for adding to stuff I'm writing, Sciral Consistency for keeping track of regularly recurring chores (and whether I've done them), Mint is awesome for keeping track of money matters (credit cards, bank accts) and it gives you reminders for bills and weekly budget updates. Things is pricey, and it ties into a PC program, but it's a very good to-do-list tracker/organizer. The Facebook app is pretty handy gateway to the social networking site, I use Night Camera for getting iPhone snaps at night (it works when the standard cam doesn't and works great when you're outside at night). Sometimes I use TrailGuru for logging running/biking routes and keeping track of times and speeds. It'd be more valuable if I wasn't such a shirker. Flashlight is valuable if you just dropped stuff in the dark and you need to see and all you have is yr phone. Thems my steadies.

Nice pics!! Welcome to the iPhone world.

My favourite apps

- Grocery Gadget (portable grocery lists);
- NFB (access to films by the National Film Board of Canada);
- Apple Remote (will control a Mac's iTunes if it has Wifi);
- Shazam;
- WeatherEye (better than the built in app);
- ScoreMobile and CBC Hockey (if you like sports/hockey);
- i.TV (for, oddly enough, movie listings);
- the IFLOW book apps and Stanza - can't beat books on the phone...
- facebook - more functionallity than the mobile version that you can access on any internet capable phone, easier to use on your iPhone than the full function site.

And a whack of games that were free, or cheap:

- Euchre (Bridge-style card game);
- FreeCell (Solitaire-style puzzle);
- Wild West Guns (Rail shooter);
- Time Crisis (Rail shooter);
- Top Gun (Air combat sim);
- Wolf3d (Old Castle Wolfenstein port);
- iDracula (2D shooter);
- Archon (port of a chess-like action/strategy game from early 80s)
- GalagaRemix and DigdugRemix (Classic early 80's arcade games).

Have fun...

PS, found a $20 remote control app that will let you fully control a DSLR camera if the camera is wired to a wifi laptop. Looks really good. Useless for me - I got a T1i Rebel, but no laptop. iMacs ain't that portable...

Laters.
