If you just link the picture it in the group, no harm, it wont show up on your profile as a picture but If you just upload it as an attachment it will be shown on your profile, In the attachment folder.

If you don't want to advertise this but instead keep it isolated in the groups you frequent this is how you do it:

Go to the group.

Click the tab pics.


Here you can create your own alum to upload those pictures to!


Give it a name and then upload your pictures! You can add up to 60 pictures in an album. If you leave the check box named 'add to my pics' unchecked the folder will only be visible to members of the group where you created the folder and it will not be shown on your profile!

From this album you can now link the pictures in the group, click on the pic you want to show, right click on it, select the option to copy the picture address (should look something like this: http://img.suicidegirls.com/media/albums/7/47/22477/1075946.jpg) and when posting in a thread, click image link and then follow the popups instructions!



(If, when you post your pictures like this they seem a bit too big and cant fit in your post, just edit the post and save it again, this usually helps with that!)

..Or if you don't mind having them on your profile you can create a folder on your own profile where you keep you special pictures.

That way it’s separated from attachments and is easily manageable to add and delete pictures from.

Bonus!

You can also post pictures and text inside a spoiler, so people can choose if they want to see it! Or use this if you are posting many pictures so your post wont take up such a big part of the thread.

It's polite to inform the user what the spoiler contains, for example:

When you post a spoiler, click the spoiler link under the comment field. Then fill in what you want to spoiler between the tags!
