Last night I talked to Spooky on AIM! I was really nervous at first, because I am a big shy dork, but it was happy. So hooray for that, and hooray for Spooky!

I am so in love with people, but also so afraid of them. I forget how much I love people and their company. Often I don't remember how open and excited people can make me until I force myself to just talk to them, or until I am around the people that I already feel quite safe with. Then I remember how much joy I get from my friends, how much I love learning about them and sharing in-jokes with them and just enjoying the presense of other people.

It makes me wish I had more friends here at college. I spend almost all of my time here alone, and i'm unsure of how to make new friends.

I adore my philosophy teacher. She went on a tangent today about Frued and the batthle between internal desires and externam pressure, and at the end of it all she said "and of course, if you don't do it well, you can always go crazy. that's always an option".

I adore her.

I am awake and dreaming of home.

1. I wish for myself the ability to get rid of my ridiculous shyness and inability to open up to people. For others, I wish that everyone could see how beautiful life and people can be sometimes...and i wish that they all liked Eddie From Ohio, because then the world would be a better place.

2. In a movie AND book, Ellie Arroway from "Contact". In a song...wow...i'm not sure at all. I'll have to come back to that.

You're a really sweet girl Morgan and anyone would be lucky to call you their friend. I was much the same way when I was young. At some point I started letting go of my fears, because I realised I was missing out on some great moments and people. I still have some of them from time to time, but I try to let go as soon as I notice them.

1. I wish for everyone else what I wish for in myself, happiness and love, the end.
2. oh geez, that's hard. Ummm...uhhh....I have to pick somethign animated, because the way I like to think of myself is not as a normal person in a normal society, so I'm gonna go with maybe "Sully" from Monsters, Inc. I just wish I was big and fluffy and furry like him, though...I lik to do what I'm good at, I care about others more than myself, I love takign care of things, and I love big fuzzy monsters
