I'm back!

This was a wonderful wonderful weekend. I feel so refreshed. Nothing is better than being at home and seeing my friends, and going to an Eddie From Ohio concert. I'm walking around dancing randomly, I look like Ally McBeal on crack. (eww...i just said "ally mcbeal". Anyway, I had a perfect little vacation, and now I can't wait for the next one.

Here are some questions:
1. What's the last song you heard today?
2. Are you happy?

I think i'm one of the only people my age who really DIDN'T desperately want to leave home when college-time came around. I LOVE Virginia. So, because of that, here are some lyrics that will piss off everyone from another state!

"You think you'll find some mountains
in Western Colorado
fifty Weeks of snowy peaks is where you're gonna be
but babe the Rocky Mountains are gradually eroding
the hills of Coors are nothing more
than Blue Ridge wannabes...

you think autumns in New England
are the greatest of them all
but give me sweet Virginia for the fireworks of Fall
the prettiest October, in all the 50 states
just drive up to the skyline, park the car and wait

so grow up Colorado, excuse me, Tennessee
if you don't mind, North Caroline
here's where I want to be
when you're talking home, you mean the Old Dominion
just southeast of Heaven to the surf and the hills
the best of 13 sisters and 37 more
sweet sweet Virginia always keeps an open door"

Download this song (which is Eddie From Ohio, of course) here:

Just added to say i'm so happy it's almost retarded.

Nick made me lots of cinnamon toast this morning. Isn't he the most amazingly bestest thing in the universe?

I was just in the middle of explaining something to my boss and co-workers (in a meeting) when I heard "How Soon is Now?" on the radio. I stopped and said "oh, it's the Smiths" and promptly lost my train of thought. They probably thought I was trying to distract them from whatever I was talking about.

Yes.

Babylove.
OF COURSE I'm going to still visit you.

Astrid is only a busride away, and a cheap one at that, so that's more feesible for the nearby future.

Heh...make whoopie.

I'm happy! I'm safe and warm in my house and happy. And I will get right one downloading that song.

Last song I heard: Jim Carey - Somebody to love

Love you!

Glad to hear you had a good weekend. me too. Hooray for good weekend.

Questions...

1 - David Gray is on the radio right now... the last GOOD song they played -- or that I really liked, and wasn't slow and boring -- was Johnny Cash doing "Personal Jesus." I love that man in black.

2 - I am right now. I'll be even happier tomorrow night. And happier still in December. Hooray for happy.

1.) I'm currently listening to Mindless Self Indulgence, don't know the track title though.

2.) Furthest thing from it. Death would be so much better than my current state of mind.
