1. Quick update on my progress so far for ReadOn 2010, the reading I'm doing for the Open Books charity! They ask adult readers to keep track of their progress by book names and pages read. So it started this weekend and so far I've read 435 pages of The Unabriged Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and 20 pages of The Zombie Survival Guide. Now I'm working on reading Lovecraft's Legacy, a collection of Lovecraft inspired short stories. It'll be interesting to keep track of how many pages I end up reading in a month! 2. Speaking of this weekend, my work had a huge service day this weekend. We've been working on this for 8 solid months, so it's a huge relief to be finished with it. Sadly, I didn't get to go out and volunteer because I had to stay on campus and work on logistics, but we got over 1600 volunteers that went to organizations across the city. And that's pretty exciting!

3. And speaking of books, hawkorhandsaw and I are selling some of our used books. If you're interested in any of them, check out the listings here. We're also giving away a suitcase full of books to charity.

4. hawkorhandsaw starts his new job next Monday, which is awesome. Since he has the time he'll be going back to his hometown for the weekend, so I'll miss him lots. Though I guess it'll give me a lot of time for reading!
