Wow, it's been awhile since I've updated!

Let's see, what's been new?

1. I signed up for ReadOn 2010 (link to the event), which is basically a book-reading marathon fundraiser that happens in May. I'm excited and once I have my page edited I can't wait to start asking around and hopefully getting pledges for it. My VISTA program is considering doing it as a group and everyone keeps saying I'd be their secret weapon (they have all seen me reading pretty much constantly). I'm already trying to think of what books I want to read for it. It's done by pages read, but I feel like re-reading books would be unfair. Anyway, hooray for doing something I do a lot already, but this time for a good cause!

2. Last week I was sick. It was miserable. I don't know what I had, but my boss told me to go home on Thursday afternoon, and once I got home I immediately went to sleep and slept for about 16 hours. And then on Friday all I kept down was a cup of chicken broth and two Slimfast shakes (thank you Daniel for getting those for me, you're the best boyfriend). I hate being nauseated. I'd rather stub my toe infinitely than be sick to my stomach.

3. I finished Kitten Sanctuary, much to my dismay. Now I need a new video game to play, since I started replaying Dragon Age but realized it was too soon. Too bad I'm friggin' broke!

4. It'd been ages, but we finally got a chance to get another D&D session in, and I think it was one of the best yet. It'd been so long that my character sheet had gotten dusty, and that's just a tragedy.

5. Currently still reading Pratchett book after Pratchett book. Eventually I'll run out, I suppose! Right now I'm on the Tiffany Aching series, which is now officially my second favorite plotline after the Watch (which is the first because I have kind of a geek crush on Vimes).

Wow, this is a mostly geeky update.

Nothing will ever top the Watch series for me. If you like Pratchett you should check out the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde. You would probably enjoy them.

Who doesn't have a crush on Vimes? Although I am digging Moist, and looking forward to Pratchett having him take on Taxes.

I've been meaning to read some of the Pratchett series (I have the Gaiman/Pratchett book, Good Omens). What's your favorite?

The marathon sounds like an interesting event, I wonder if I can get some people here to do it with me.

Dragon Age was great fun. I went through it 2 times. Mass Effect 2 was even better. I went through that one 3 times lol. I just finished a book from Brandon Sanderson (Warbreaker) and have yet to decide what I'm going to read next. I met Cherie Priest last week so I may start Boneshaker next.
