Hey y'all!

First, a print update. The first two prints that I listed are currently on reserve (thank you for everyone who expressed interest, and I sent PMs to those who were the first responders with details!). The third one is still available, however! It's from an SG camping trip in which I did a strip-tease for fun:

If anyone is interested, post here or PM me to let me know. I also have one more and some smaller prints that I may be listing shortly.

Other updates!

1. I'm dealing with a somewhat scary health issue at the moment, so any well wishes y'all have are welcome. Probably everything is fine, but still. Good vibes are always useful.

2. Work has been going well this week. That is probably largely because my boss hasn't been in and I've been able to work from home/go home early and work from there a couple of times, and the colleague I'm working with is awesome. I am not looking forward to the "Big Boss" coming back.

3. I still feel lost without Dragon Age to play, now that I've played it through twice. When I have an extra hour or two to spend and want to sit at the computer there's no game for me to play! I'd be bored if I went through it again, sadly.

4. I'm looking forward to an entire two weeks off starting the week after next, and to heading to Louisville for Christmas. I'm got a paycheck so I'm finally able to start getting some of the presents I want to get people, though it's a strain on my budget. Still, I'm excited for people to see what I got them.

5. Daniel tells me I've pretty much faced the average of cold here in Chicago now, since yesterday was -3 and felt like -17 (according to Weather.com). I remain terrified of the cold that is to come, however.

Have you investigated the games of Spiderweb Software? They're a tad lo-fi, but of course these games aren't about the graphics. Geneforge is a bit more story-and-dialogue oriented with moral choices and such, also the creation of genetically engineered slavebeasts to serve your every whim. Avernum's old school dungeon crawling with clever puzzles and such. Nethergate's somewhere in between with a setting of the Roman conquest of Britain laced with real magic (wielded primarily by the Celts) and faeries and goblins and such.

They'll eventually cost money, but the demos are very generous in terms of content.

You're in my thoughts as far as your health. Had a little uncertainty pass my way a few years back, and it can be a scary thing.

Secondly, I'm jealous you got to go camping. I haven't done that since Rocky Mountain National Park about 5 years ago.

I gotta do that again. Hope you're well. smile

No problem. I've been a fan of Spiderweb Software for a long time, ever since I got a book on tricks of Mac game programming (that I never used) that came with a CD with an early version of Exile (his first game) on it. From before he hired artists. It has....thrilling... hand drawn graphics and some interface issues, but I was hooked from then on. Since they've never been sold at retail and don't attract a lot of press attention, I always like to spread the word.

Sorry you two can't make it to Shelbyville. Don't know how long you're gonna be in Louisville or how long it's been since Daniel lived here, but i'd be happy to give you some suggestions for good eats or things to do. Hope your feeling better! smile

Is this your first official winter here in Chicago? I feel your pain. I moved from freakin FLORIDA, and the first winter here was one of the worst out of all of the ones I've had here. I hope you have a warm coat ... wool is great, and a hood is a necessity!

What health issues are going on with you sweetie?

I'm hoping to get Dragon Age eventually to play. I've only heard good things about it.

Stay warm love. I'm sorry I'll miss you when we swing through Chicago on the way to visit Ash.frown Oh well, just another reason to go back up there.

Love you! Warm thoughts coming your way.

Oh cool, u responded smile I'm happy to have an old school sg in our town, when I first came to the site can u believe that there weren't *any* girls from chicago?? I thought that was weird since it's such a huge city. Perhaps there had been a few before I came and they left or something but it's hard to find chicago ladies here for some reason.

I'm also from FL, too .. Tampa. Atlantas not too cold either, that's a huge change in your environment, what made u decide to move *here*?

We have a mutual friend, schiavona, who's coming to IN to visit for the holidays and he mentioned that you were the only other person here he would have wanted to meet but that you wouldn't be around at that time. Do you go to any of the events around town?
