There's nothing about getting out of college that changes that new grocery feeling. It's a beautiful thing.

All of my friends in college were gamers. They even roped me into a few campaigns. In the longest one I played an evil thief/assassin named Angus who always ended up getting royally screwed. At one point he had his memory wiped, which somehow reversed his alignment. So he became a paladin. He ended up sacrificing his life to save the world.

Not exactly what I'd had in mind for him at the start...

Oh, and if I could do anything for a day free of consequences, I'd probably walk up and kiss every beautiful woman I saw. That would be fun.

I'd rampage through Hollywood on a motorcycle, blasting idiot movie stars with high-powered weaponry, bashing their heads with baseball bats, and slicing them to ribbons with swords. I would kill and kill and kill and not stop till I found the cast of Friends. And then the fun would really begin...

I am just about to enter the Baroque period. I am loving the book so far. What's up with Alberto calling her Hilde? (I don't actually want that answered, I haven't quite figured out if she and Hilde are the same person or what, but I like that I don't know.) She was a little bitchy when he was telling her about Galileo, Kepler and Newton, but I may have just been reading my own impatient tone that I take with teachers into her. I may not get to read any tonight when I het out of work though. I have to read the first half of Hard Times by Dickens for my Brit Lit class on Monday....then I can return to Sophie tomorrow night.

To answer your question.....I would buy every book I every wanted and every book that all of my friends ever wanted.
