Iron Man was, of course, awesome. And I can't wait for Nick Fury and War Machine.
But there's something unsettling about watching a movie that makes me find Robert Downey, Jr. attractive.
Also, holy shit. One of the games I used to play years and years ago, Gazillionaire, has a version three now. I am so going to play the hell out of that. That game brings back all kinds of memories. I played it with my high school girlfriend, who I dated for well over a year. We loved the sound effects and would use them in every day conversation, and would play the game for hours together in the house I grew up in. Nostalgia City, here I come!
Now, thinking about old games I used to love, I'd really love to play Diablo II for a couple of hours tonight, too. I have so many fun memories of that game. I once showed someone the Secret Cow level of Diablo as an icebreaker. When I played Riven, I had to recruit my girlfriend at the time to finish the last major puzzle for me, because I'm terrible at spacial relations and just couldn't figure it out. I also once started to make out with a guy after I got him to teach me how to play the fishing games in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I have fond memories of the hour(s) I spent with halfjack trying to get past that damn air level in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. I can't even begin to count the awesome memories I have that relate to video games with Tangus, including having to ask him to help me with a battle in Zelda: Twilight Princess, watching each other play Bully, and playing Warioware with him and giggling crazily over the disco dancing puppies and kittens.
It's sad how many of my favorite stories relate, in some way, to video games.
Tell me some video game stories!
P.S. I can't get this song out of my head
