the other night I randomly headed up to government camp which is on the way to mt. hood.
I <3 my friends because all of them are usually up for random fun times at any moment. the whole reason that this little adventure occurred was due to someone having a massive craving for huckleberry pancakes which they apparently serve at a restaurant at government camp. So all 8 of us piled into a car and buckled ourselves in for pancake adventures! The ride up there was rather dangerous at times. It started to snow and everyone that passed us in the opposite direction decided that it was a marvelous idea to drive with their brights on and blind us all and make it impossible to see the road. hehe But after quite sometime we made it to our destination and headed to a bar first. chatted, played darts, and ran around in the snow. at one point I was up to my thighs in snow. so much fun and so pretty! After the bar we headed to get some huckleberry pancakes...I wish they had waffles because I like those better but the pancakes were pretty tasty. Then we piled back into the car and since it was freezing there was a massive cuddle fest on the way back home.
Today I went to the midnight showing of 300! I had a very fun time and enjoyed the movie quite a lot.
We arrived early so to pass the time a domino competition was had.
Now I need to head off and finish up packing. I will be moved out of my apartment by Sunday hopefully. I am very happy about that!

so what have I been up to?
been baking cookies like a fiend and giving them to everyone. A waitress at a sushi shop saw I had cookies with me the other day when I was eating with a friend and asked for one. I gladly gave her some and when it came time to tally up the plates of sushi and pay for our meal she didn't tally up our miso soup and two expensive plates of sushi because I gave her some cookies she said haha. Awesome!
I hung out at a wildlife rehabilitation center here in Oregon called the Audubon society. Spent some time hiking around the trails they have there and my friend and I caught a salamander in a pond. He was adorable and chubby ^.^
Let's see...someone finally came and fixed my power!! Took forever but I am very thankful my apartment has full power back haha.
I watched a rather epic UFC at my friend's house this past friday. The last fight was very interesting and action packed. a forty old guy came out of retirement to fight a gigantic ogre of a guy that was 30 and 6inches taller than him and had a huge reach! the forty old guy totally owned the ogre though it was fantastic.
I had to attend an orientation meeting for students studying abroad -_- the best part of it was that we all got bags from the student health center and I rummaged around in the bag and found things like tylenol, bactine, bandaids and the last thing I pulled out of the bag was a condom....nice to know that the student health center is looking out for us all as we study abroad ^.^
I ate at a fantastic sushi shop.... I seem to be eating at alot of those lately haha.... with friends max and chloe. The portions were huge! Usually you get little tiny rolls you can pop in your mouth but these pieces were like 6 of the little pieces crammped together. I had to take 4 or 5 bites just to finish one off. I packed away lots of food as I have not really eaten that much in a few days since all I have are spices and some bread. I have just been eating toast for the last week. toast with butter, toast with peanut butter, toast with peanut butter and jelly, toast, toast with cinnamon and sugar, toast, toast, toast. Any other suggestions of what I should put on my toast to make it tasty?..... cause I have about half a loaf left and that will get me through the week haha.
I hung out with the lovely miss kendraand drank at the jolly roger while she shared some climbing photos from her trip to hueco texas. After awhile we met up with some others and went to a bar called the candy store. Sadly they did not have any candy but some crazy tic tac candy....their name mislead me! haha
After some rounds of pool we hatched the idea to go and get some duct tape at winco and then go buy some used porn magazines...yes used -_-.... our goal was to make a wall of porn that we would tape in the doorway of a friend's house so when they left in the morning they would wall right into a wall of horrible 80s porn. After acquiring the duct tape and porn we went to shari's to create our epic materpiece and ended up getting asked to put the porn away so we left there and headed to chris' place where we finished our porn materpiece and I played with a lovable snorty dog. Then off to duct tape our wall of porn to the front door. It was truly magical!
Well yeah so this has been a Mistil update <3 many more adventures have been had but I do not have enough time to share it all!

I stopped by the library today and I now have star trek the next generation season 2 and farscape season 1 for the next 3 weeks! oh joy! I think I will go watch some episodes and do some art/crafty projects.
ooo which reminds me I need to learn how to make a website to display some of my creations....so any suggestions, pointers or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I just finished watching the firefly series. I am sad there are no more episodes. hmmm there is a movie though....except someone spoiled it for me and told me that my favorite character dies so I don't know if I want to track down the movie just yet...
anyway back to knitting legwarmers and studying Japanese.

I just finished watching the firefly series. I am sad there are no more episodes. hmmm there is a movie though....except someone spoiled it for me and told me that my favorite character dies so I don't know if I want to track down the movie just yet...
anyway back to knitting legwarmers and studying Japanese.

Mistil goes to Bremerton!!
So I took a trip up to visit my hometown with my mother. I had not been up there for about 15 years.
I wanted to go up to visit some friends and see some places from my youth! It was interesting how much I remembered the places.

The infamous snake hill in my neighborhood. I have fond memories riding my bike and scooter down this hill.
visited my old school.
I conquered the rock wall there haha. That sure was mighty difficult.
next stop pulsbo where we filled ourselves with tasty treats from the bakery there
and I flirted with a viking
Visited with some friends and roamed around some more and then by the end of the day I was all tuckered out!

haha so I just got carded when I went to see Pan's Labyrinth....a rated R film.
I went to see the movie with my mother and sister and the ticket selling lady asked to see my ID and then saw my mother and said "oh it's ok you're seeing it with your mother" ^.^ Yes so apparently I look like a 16 years old.
Loved the movie!
now I must zip off to go eat some delicious okonomiyaki at kyo fu!
