ooo thunder and lightening outside. time to snuggle up and let the neon genesis evangelion fest begin! ^_^

Last night many friends and myself went up to larch mountain to watch the meteor shower. I sometimes forget how many stars you are up in the sky because in the city at night no stars are really visible. But up on the mountain last night the sky had an abundance of stars. Very nice meteors were seen streaking acorss the sky momentarily. Overall a relaxing night of stargazing, good company, and silly talk/antics.

Today I was invited to go to the local zoo and do a behind the scene tour. Hightlights of the evening were feeding a black rino apples, petting hippos, watching penguins ( which I love so), and a mischievious elephant named Rose who wanted to spray water on everyone. It was very enjoyable to be upclose and interact with some of the animals.

I have been very busy with friends, work, and running errands so I think tonight I'll just hunker down and enjoy time alone. perhaps read and watch a movie.

I've been busy tutoring a few students in Japanese this summer...a very enjoyable and relaxing job. another plus of the job is I get to meet very interesting people and learn about the extremely interesting lives they lead. For example one of the students I am tutoring is training to become a Buddhist priest.

After teaching people Japanese I usually sit down to play World of warcraft which will now be referred to WoW from here on. I began playing a few months ago after beiing urged to do so by a group of my friends. I had played warcraft III and love all other types of video games and computer games but I tried to put off WoW because I knew it would require lots of time and a small monthly fee. But I finally gave in and am very pleased with the game, characters, environments....etc.

well it's the weekend now for me so I will probably be playing lots of WoW, watch lots of movies and anime, and roam around town.

time for me to run off and get the needed nutrients my body is telling me I require by making angry rumbly tummy noices.
