good twilight fellow night owls. just finished up a lovely evening playing my favorite board game, cranium, and some super monkey ball on the game cube. had dinner with some very nice people we met a couple of weeks ago. they are the bees knees. i do have some very sad news though, it looks like the power outage a few days back has given our friend tivo brain damage. the tivo doctors only give him until tomorrow to live. if anyone can help, it seems that he has lost the ability to make the nightly phone call. it has nothing to do with the phone connection, the problem appears to be tivo related. at any rate, we may have to send tivo to the farm and get a new one. so sad, can tivo really be replaced? he is like a member of the family. difficult days ahead at sghq. may your thoughts be with us. xoxo -missy
rose stopped by to update her journal just now. she is the cutest. and spooky and i went to grab a bite with the very lovely voltaire this afternoon. i got to see what she added to her tattoo, it looks great. spooky and i also went to check out the sg gear, and it is just amazing. and i am not just saying that because this is my site, i really believe it. i think i may just live in sg gear. they just feel so nice and soft and cuddly and they are fitted just right, i really am not sure if there is any need for other clothing. well maybe pants, ok definatley pants, it has been snowing on portland. adios! xoxo -missy
good morning. i went dancing last night so i am in high spirits. shooting debra jean and going out to lunch today. very excited. even have a nice weekend planned ahead. the new shop is up and open for business. i hope you like all of the garments. i have been living in that girls hoodie, i love it so soft and comfy. ta ta for now. xoxo -missy
last night had to be one of the top five most ridiculous things that has happened in portland that i have ever seen. portland is a city of protest, if there are three or more people getting together you can probably find someone to protest it. it is great, free speech, makes the city what it is. but last night just before the olympic torch goes by sghq there is a loud speaker booming and sirens. i look out over the balcony and there is a truck driving by with video monitors showing footage of rodeos with the slogan "cruelty is not an olympic sport." since last time i checked rodeo stunts were not olympic events, the only thing that i can figure they were protesting was the fact that salt lake city has rodeos and therefor should not be allowed to host the olympics. oregon has some of the biggest rodeos in the country so it just seems a little ridiculous to me. but i am sure that they would protest if the olympics were here too. and don't get me wrong, i am a vegetarian, i don't wear fur, and i believe that rodeos and the circus and zoos are more than a little fucked up but is it really appropriate to protest the olympics because of that? it is kind of apples and oranges don't you think? but i once saw a protest against shopping on the day after thanksgiving here where the protesters put out boxes of hangers and the mounted police got all tangled up in them harming the horses. so sometimes it doesn't matter what the kids are protesting just that they are. god i love this city.
good evening ladies and gentlemen. playboy has left the building. we had a ton of fun. it was really great to see all of the girls together and meet some of you. it was kind of weird to be on the other side of the camera for once but i think i did ok. i always feel like the biggest jackass on camera. but the playboy people put me at ease. i posted some pics from this weekend. i hope that you like them because more are on the way shortly. xoxo -missy
playboy is coming, playboy is coming. so exciting. debra jean stopped by this afternoon. she made the pilgramage all the way from slc just for filming. she's a fucking rockstar. always fun to see her smiling face. i hope to see some of your smiling faces at the square tomorrow at 4:30PM. be there or be not on television. xoxo -missy
goodness gracious great balls of fire. sg is running like a well oiled machine. we're taking over areas, it ain't fair of us. i haven't seen enough sg propaganda in portland yet though. we need to mobilize and sticker this motherfucker up, so what the fuck? if sf can get together for not one but two events i think portland and the rest of the country for that matter can get together one meeting, don't you think? what about raleigh and chicago and l.a.? armed with stickers, technology and our devious minds we can take over the planet. who's with me? xoxo -missy
how is everyone today? i am cranky, and a little tired. i want to rest and just watch tv and not move for about three days. but seeing as that is not going to happen i am complaining in my journal. wah. sometimes i am such a baby. xoxo -missy
it's 10AM and i am still tired. i don't feel that sleepy just kind of underwater. had weird dreams last night. dreams that were not fantastical but could have been any other boring day. i hate waking up not knowing what is real and what was just a dream.
missy here. "bling bling all in your face, i ride down the street in my escalade." oh wait not that missy, although i wish i was as cool as her. am i a big dork for loving everything that she and/or timbaland does? is this the wrong place to make those references? if i could be anyone else in the world i think missy elliot is definately in my top five. her, bjork, dorothy parker, jack nicholson or muhammed ali. i think those would be the top five people that i would trade lives with if i could. i know they are kind of varied and that some of them have had major problems, especially later in life but i think those would be the most interesting lives to lead, well at least the most fun for awhile. maybe they woud change if i thought about it more but off the top of my head those would be the lives. take care. xoxo -missy
