After enjoying the Portland experience in NYC, and listening to my favorite LA band's EP on the inflight entertainment I realized the alternative is now readily available. The outside is in. We live in a weird world in which I can update my SuicideGirls journal from 30,000 feet.

I don't even know what the term, "alternative" is referencing any longer!
It has changed so much since when I firat remember the "alternative scene" in the early 90's.
