My son tripped and fell tonight and smashed his face in on the back of a chair. His bridge and septum are broken and his teeth are chipped. Poor kid

He was pretty unhappy but held it together. He is suffering now and there is little I can do but give him his pill and be sympathetic. This is the second time this year he has really messed himself up. I'm glad I have insurance.

When I was a kid I did something very similar and went face first into a rockery in a garden. I know how he feels. Hope he heals quick and gets better soon.

One of the advantages to discovering you 3 months after the fact is I get to ask how he's doing when it's probably safe to guess he's doing much better. There is nothing in the world sadder than seeing your kid hurt or suffering. I hope he got through the whole ordeal in good shape. I have 2 kids and one I don't worry about all that much (even though he has managed in a short period of time to total 2 cars!) but the other puts me in a constant state of agina - go figure. I'm glad you have insurance too!
