hellooooo everyone!!! sorry it's taken me way too long to update my journal, but there hasn't been much availability to use the internet recently.. well, i don't like to generally badmouth anyone, but since i'm on the subject i think i should start. my week was going ok except for a couple things. my manager at union jacks almost convinced me i was fat and told me i couldn't work the shifts i wanted, then, my manager also wants to get rid of all the girls with extensive tattoos or peircings. hmm, sounds like me maybe. what has union jack's always been known for??/ i thought it was that same look, the alternative, and the barbie dolls. we had it all, now there's new management and that place is going in the hole. i walked out on that craphole friday night and the only reason i would set foot back in there is to visit some of the dancers who are still there before they take off too. here's a message to rob, the new manager, this is portland, and union jacks was known for the kind of girls here in portland that you think are pretty much worthless "tattood metal-faced girls who won't bring any money into the club". why are you trying to change that???
well, other than this crappy union jacks crap, everything else is going fine, i just need to find a new job like this week... maybe as a server somewhere or a bartender... that would be awesome. well, i am about to go talk to my drummer and maybe get in a little band practice tonight... talk to you all later... -mia:0)

hello everyone! it's been a couple days, but now i'm back from idaho.... new tattoo work and all. i haven't been up to much but working... sunday night i work at union jacks if anyone would like to come visit me. oooh, i don't know if anyone besides me likes millencolin, but i got my tickets for the crystal ballroom show this month. that's my only show plans for now. well, talk to you all soon...

hey, i'm glad to see all of your responses to my set. i'm actually in idaho for the weekend getting tattood and seeing my family. i will be back at union jack's though on monday through sunday... woohoo!! i'll be glad to take this break though.
