I know it took me a while to update everyone, but the trip was hectic!!! We worked our butts off for Suicide Girls doing promotions and making a dvd of interviews of some of the warped bands all in the name of Suicide Girls. Even though it was all great fun, it was hectic. Some rockstars are pretty flakey.. .some are awesome. I would have to say I had my favorites... well, here are all of the musicians I got to meet: Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio, who had no time for an interview, Tommy, Brett and Mike from Places to Park, an awesome Volcom stage band, go CHECK THEM OUT!! Ephrum from Death by Stereo, Alex from Finch, Glassjaw, Flogging Molly, Handsome Devil, the one dude from the Eyeliners, Halo Friendlies - an all girl band playing near the Ladies Lounge in SF, the singer from the MM Bosstones, Arkham (another volcom stage band), Jeff from Thursday... the list goes on. The interviews were really fun, some are going to be unforgettable.... especially that 2nd Places to Park interview with Tommy and Mike... I miss being on the tour and can't wait to catch up with all of these folks at the Gorge this weekend. I'm ready to go. Screw work, yeah.
