On Sunday I went to Pirate's sister's bridal shower. It was really fun! Her and I were wrapped in toilet paper wedding dresses.



So much wedding business going on. One of my best friends from high school is getting married in 12 days, on my birthday, and I'm the maid of honor. I kinda have wedding fever and it's funny cause I never used to want to get married. Then my boyfriend was the one that talked about it a lot when we first started dating, we had made a pact to get married at 28 when we were 16 but then we ended up dating this last year. I enjoy companionship, having a partner who is also my best friend, someone I can plan the future with, travel with, go out with, snuggle with, cry with. I want to get what I give and I've never really felt that in a relationship, is it possible? Or are guys just on a totally different level... I wonder.

Anyways... I have a major scary job interview tomorrow, I want it really bad and I'm going to be sad if I don't get it but I don't want to get my hopes up. Fingers crossed for me!!

Went to the beach this evening, the boi and his buddies wanted to play acoustic guitars at sunset, so he used the one that I've had for 12 years sitting in my closet collecting dust, I should learn how to play it.. but I like drums. So with all the extra room I'll have when he moves out... I'm going to get an electric drum kit finally - I need more productive hobbies.

I haven't cried as much as I did this weekend since last year in Colombia. I think on Saturday I cried for 4 straight hours. Anyways, life is ever changing and I'm going to hope it's for the good. My boyfriend and I are going to live apart, after moving intogether after only 3 months of dating (even though we were friends for 8 years) it's not working. So we're going to try to make it work and date the way we should have before.

Last week I spent 2.5 hours in my bathroom doing a self shot set. Hopefully you will be able to view it soon. I don't have photoshop so I just used Picasa to adjust the lighting and colouring a bit. I know it's not the best quality but it was fun and I thought it would be neat to put it up and say that I did it all by myself! Here's a preview pic.


On Saturday Pirate came with me to Subeez to eat some food with S_Eldorado while he was in town. Was nice to see him as always! And I think I saw Bettina at the Foundation last night... small world, it is Burlesque time in Van right now.

Going to Tiger Army tonight and I've never even heard one of their songs. Woop!
This made me cry on Valentine's day and it does every time I watch it. "Across the Universe" was an amazing movie, and I don't even like the Beatles.

Today I deleted facebook - I no longer have myspace as of last month so this is my only social networking tool for now. I need to just take a set back from the drama in Van and facebook is an evil thing.

"In Bloom" is live today, FINALLY! I'm so happy this set is getting the recognition I think it deserves. Lavonne had to shoot it twice (a year ago to the month), and I love her for doing that and all her amazing editing. It was a fun day because I did it in the hallway of the apartment and Pirate did her first one in the kitchen (back in the good ol days when we lived together and everything was bliss) and redmess did our makeup (I miss that red haired Texan, my life isn't the same without her), then we all ate sushi and it was great.

So thanks for all your feedback and comments, I hope my next one (that I'm shooting tomorrow with the also amazing Cherry) will give you something more, perhaps a smile? Haha, anyways, I love you all.

Edit: The small balls here are called FIVE PIN and the big ones are TEN PIN - at the place near my house you can do five pin bowling glow in the dark, it's all black lights and let me tell ya, its super fun when you're on drugs...
