I am never sitting down long enough to be able to thank everyone individually, but thanks to everyone who commented on my new set Illuminated in Member Review - I do read every comment! If you haven't, please do so. I love it, and I wanna see it on the front page!


I started Dexter season 2 last night on DVD. I don't have cable so I just wait for my shows to come out on DVD, need Lost season 4 and Grey's Anatomy season 4. Speaking of which, one comment on my new set that made me laugh out loud at 2 am "I always wondered what Kate Walsh would look like naked" - that's the only reason I started watching Grey's, EVERYONE told me how much I looked like her, especially when I had dark red hair. Of course she is older and has bigger boobs but hey, she's hot. It's the giant eyes and lots of eye lid.


Today I went to the Victory Square Block Party - was alright, pretty damn COLD. There was some awkward situations. But man I tell ya, BABE FEST 2008!!!!!!!!!! I also made some buttons at a little store on Main St. FUN! I love buttons, hence Button Button.

SG Night in Vancouver - could happen in November, I'll keep you posted, it's in the works!!!

The rain is gonna start full force soon, I'm not ready for it. Back to the gym and tanning salon I go. I do love Vancouver though.

"Illuminated" in Member Review - give it lots of love!

I think my brain is fried... too much partying. But... always worth it. I haven't taken that much time in getting prettied up for a long time, I even put fake eye lashes on myself. I knew it was going to be a hard night as since the breakup 3 months ago I haven't gone to a single show. He goes to all of them, took over what was once mine, and c'est la vie. But I was afraid that the old feelings of insecurity and worthlessness would come back, that's how he used to make me feel and we always went to shows and that's how I felt. Now that I finally have my self esteem back, and I looked smokin fucking hot last night, he went over the top last night to try and crush it out of me again. It's a good thing I was on so much fucking ecstasy that I didn't let it totally ruin my night.

I just went for a bike ride, I love Van when it's sunny. Stopped at a used bookstore, got a book, got a cute shirt at a little shop on the way home, my bike is so rad now that it's all fixed up but fall is here, I can smell it. Part of me loves it and part of me loathes it... what can you do but wait another year.

Going to the Radha tonight with a cute Vegan so .. no real complaints cept my eyes hurt from crying all morning. Then perhaps I'll go to Malloreigh's studio to pick up the painting she did for me!

"Illuminated" - featuring Meshell naked! Member Review, Saturday August 30th @ 5pm!

Life is fun, the rain is sad, my friends are the best.
Pirate, Malloreigh, Ala, Cherry and Maiwan and I got together last night for some eats and cocktails. What a sweet ass good looking bunch of girls.... even the old Italian men thought so.

It's frustrating when something that feels so right could be so wrong, or it could be the most perfect thing in the world but you can't let it cause if you do there's a good chance it'll blow up beyond all imagining, because it's happened before so what's to say it won't again?

I wish I could re-live last week a few times over. Angels and Airwaves and SG night in Calgary..


SG's are priceless - I'm so glad I ever made it on here just to meet the people I've met. I hope to have an SG night Van one of these days.

I dropped my bicycle off to get fixed, I hope I get it back tomorrow! It's gonna be SO AWESOME. for $150 I'm getting a tune up so all the gears will work, brakes fixed, yellow grip tape, new tires... anyways yes it's a little late in the season but I'm so stoked about it.

I went out last night and got way too drunk for my own good but ran into lots of good peeps and hot boys. The one day is the perfect weather in Vancouver, 35degrees and sunny as all hell I was too fucking hungover to leave my bed til 3 o clock! Tomorrow will be beach day, NO DRINKING tonight.
It was my friend Kush's bday, was good to finally get to hang out with her as she still lives in the suburbs where we went to high school.


Just got back from the Eatery with Pirate. Service was more than exceptionally terrible today, I won't even bother to write what happened out but they are damn fucking lucky that they make such tasty food. It's funny cause every time we go there we bitch about the service the whole time until our food hits the table.

I want new ink - something that illustrates how much love I have.

You'll hate me for this but seriously, watch them all. This is what I feel like every day even though I don't have a certain person in my life to love, I just love love. And as a side note, if anyone knows any cute vegan/vegetarian boys send them my way .

SG Night in Calgary on Friday August 9th was a BLAST! I just wanna say thanks so much to Rydell for organizing everything and putting me up for a night. Her personality is as beautiful as her pictures. Shanti is a riot and a pleasure to share a bed with, even if I was too drunk to take advantage of it. Lavonne a doll as always - and she shot a super sexy new set for me, just you wait.
Seska - meow!, Tiffini is a riot and damn fine cage dancing partner, Drake such a cutie, Anette and Nikoll and even Lotus were all a pleasure to meet!

Back to reality...
I went to the Angels and Airwaves show the night before I left for Calgary and it was amazing. I love how all they sing about it love, and they sound like you are flying. I love love, I love loving life, and my friends, and just being a live. It sucks that I had to go with an ex boyfriend, and even though it was fine and we're fine, no one ever hurt me or ever will again the way he did so it kinda sucked to stand next to him, but he loves them as much as I do and no one else I know even likes them. That's not to say that there isn't shitty things going on in my life, friends lying, finances being shitty, work being stressful, boys being stupid, but really, it's all good.



And last night I went to Crue Fest with Pirate - even though I only got to see 2 songs of both the bands I really wanted to see it was fun and I got to meet the singer of Trapt (they are/have been a fav band of mine for a long time) so even though I only got 2.5 songs by the time we got there it's okay.

EDIT August 5th : got a phone call this morning, I'm an auntie again!!! My second niece Holly was born yesterday in Colombia - now I can't wait to go there in October hopefully and kick it wtih Sally and see NIN in Bogota!

Today I had a stellar day. Went to 3rd beach with my buddy Vanessa, shopped - bought 3 pairs of shoes WHAT?! ya... and ate yam fries and drank cocktails - now I"m gonna curl up with my new book "Breaking Dawn" the final book in the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer and seriously... I WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH A VAMPIRE. That's all I gotta say about that.

Who are these guys you might ask?? I have NO FUCKING IDEA!!! After driving around Stanley Park for 2 hours and not finding parking for third or second beach we went to kits beach. Just as we were packing up to leave my friend Jill asked to take some photos of me on my towel for part of her art project that involves "black" subject matter - since my towel and bikini were black she wanted to take my picture. So then these two Sweedish guys (seriously) that were like 20 (seriously!) come up and are like "oh do you want us in your photoshoot" and just came and parked themselves next to me. It was TOO FUNNY FOR WORDS! I stiffled my laughter as best I could and played along.. highlight of the day for sure. GAG. Blue skies and heat make me be happy to be alive!

Last night we went to Hokus (never been always wanted to), the bands were meh, the crowd was young and also kinda meh but the sushi was okay. I dunno what it is but lately when I go out I'm surrounded by young boys, like 20 years old, like at the beach, and last night at some random house, and the list goes on. It might have something to do with the fact that apparently I don't look 19. Yesterday in the liquor store the under cover security guy came up to ME in a group of 6 girls that were younger than me and asked to see my ID. It's flattering really.

OHHH I found a rad apartment and already have keys. Gonna paint this week, needs lots of love. The next month for me is going to be so busy it's ridiculous.. s'all good though.. good things good things. The place is two floors, two bedrooms, I can put my drums in my room and no one under me can complain! I also have a balcony in my room as well as one in the living room...

A new gift shop opened up near work and they had lots of cool buttons! I spent $30 on buttons! A JEM one, SERIOUSLY! I also got a Where the Wild Things Are one but someone already stole it from me.. or rather I gave it to him.

The thing I look forward to most in my day, whatever time it is that I get home, middle of the night, early morning hungover, or evening after work, seeing this guy. He stops, drops, and rolls for me and then I do the same, we lay on the floor looking at each other upside down and he talks to me and I wish I could understand him. I doubt he's saying the same things I say to him which are usually, "you're too cute for me" or "if you got any cuter I'd have to kick you out". I'm looking for a new place to live, in east van, something a little cheaper so likely shared accommodation and the hardest part is finding somewhere I can take him with me. And I don't care cause he's worth it.

It's beautiful out - the sun is shining, other things in life that have been getting me down have been improving substantially so really - no complaints today.

On Sunday I was on Much Music's Going Coastal with ifwinterends and Mantis4U at the button show last month - I don't have cable to so I didn't get to see it .
