Hey guys, got a lil bit of time online while I'm visiting Micah.

Thanks to all the messages, phone calls, etc. It means a lot, really. I'm doing fine. I'm a pretty tough cookie when it comes to these sort of things.
My mom is doing ok - as good as she can be. She's being taken care of, hopefully put on some better medication; to be honest, this is the best thing for her. It's just a shame that this is how she had to go about getting help.

Anyways, I'll still be in the middle of nowhere for the next few days, taking care of mom's stuff and visiting her. etc; so no real internet access pour moi.

Now I'm off to eat some dinner and have a few drinks with friends - after the past few days, I need it.

Halloween party this Friday. Yay!

I just wanted to say hello to my SG world. I *heart* you all.

I've been thinking about you all day.

a friend of mine from this site who suffered from bipolar (a very talented artist, btw) committed suicide almost two years ago, and even though we weren't really close, it was hard to see him go through what he was going through. i can only imagine that it's equally as tough for the family members of those who are going through that sort of torment.

i hope your mom gets better and is able to get the help she needs. you're an angel for going to her side at a time when you too are finding it difficult to get by, in your own way. a safe journey to you.

and sorry to hear about your ass-backward state and its new laws.

I'm so sorry to hear about this Meow. My mom did the same thing when I was 13...so I definitely know how you feel. I know that my mom was also taken to a mental hospital in Columbus, but I don't know the name of it or anything.

I hope everything works out well for you and your family. A good friend of mine lost her mother to suicide a few years ago...it hurts my heart to even think about it. fingers crossed that things go uphill from here on out.
