Just ignore it. People will always find something to talk shit about if they are super unhappy with their own life. I notice that the people who tend to talk shit and put down other people have extreme insecurities with themselves so the way they deal with it, is by putting people down. If anything, instead of wasting your time getting pissed at these people and stressing yourself out, you can just let them know that you feel really sorry for them, that they are SO unhappy with their own lifes, that they have to be mean to other people.
