i have been busy lately.
me shooting the photogs after our shoot.

I was at Coney Island for the 1st time in my life, yesterday doing Guerilla nudes, i'll post those samples shortly.

update on the hair situation.

So Ant had taken some pic of me at the end of September as i was doing a window painting at work, and you could really see i did a bang up job pulling my hair again, i woke up the next day in tears, telling him that i knew he missed me having long hair, and that i was afraid i was going to have to shave bald again. I called up my barber the next day made an appt with a possible head shaving in mind.
My barber is a woman, she now understands my situation, and i said, look i did a bang up job as you can see on my head, if you can work around the spots and still trim the rest, if not shave it all off, and she was like NO i can work with this, i was hugging her at the end of it all. and it's been almost 3 weeks since i pulled.
that's pretty much the way this thing comes and goes. it's an every day battle.

Only in my wildest dreams can I imagine what it would be like to have you photographing me...after I had shot you.

Still....it's a nice dream!

Hang in there on the hair thing....don't give up....just keep working at it....you'll conquer it yet!

What's new on the food front....anything new that you've tried and liked? I sent you a different cornbread recipe through a PM a will back...did you ever try it out??

aww hon, i'm so pleased you have such an awesome hair stylist/ barber x and i'm so pleased to hear that its been 3 weeks x keep it going you can do it!

Validation...

I think you're misunderstanding that need and drive to pursue validation. It doesn't mean that he wants to be with someone else, it means he wants to feel vital, like "hey girls like me." It doesn't necessarily equate to cheating or even a desire to cheat, it's about the energy derived from that feeling. It's like a "Runners High," I know runners with numerous injuries, that continue to run. They don't drink or drug and maintain a strict diet, the endorphin high of running is their thing.

Are you flirtatious (in the manner I outlined in describing my relationship) with your boyfriend? Do you throw a vibe that you are into him? I don't mean telling him you love him, I'm talking about transmitting energy. Try it, step out of character even. And don't be discouraged if it's not openly received at first (people are taken off-guard when their partner acts differently), give it some time to sink in.

I don't think it's a personality trait in the strict sense. I'm sure some people are more flirtatious then others. But, I think it's a cop-out for your boyfriend to characterize his flirting way, I really believe he's looking for the "boost" and he might look for it even if your relationship was perfect. Similar to a runners-high, it's his thing.
