In Lieu of October, i would like to discuss PARANORMAL ACTIVITY

When i first saw the trailer i was instantly spooked and hooked, you have to vote "demand" it to come to your city, it was only playing in 12 cities a few weekends ago, i voted, it came to Philly. But for only 3 nights and only at 12:00 AM viewing!
I order my tix in advanced, and went last Friday. It's really hard for me to stay up past 12 on a week night. but i was determined, i even took a nap first. The theater was packed.
No opening or closing credits.
Scared the shit outta me, nothing since the Exorcist, Jaws, The Haunting of Emily Rose, and Blair Witch has done so yet to date. I haven't slept easy in about 3 nights.
every time i discuss the details i get goose bumps, the hair on my arm sticks straight up, i kid you not, i would take a pic if i didn't dread talking or seeing the movie clips again, parts of me have to shake off the 2 really scary parts.

this is a good review that covers it with out spoiling it.

Rotten Tomatoes is giving it a high 90's rating, if you follow RT you know this is rare.

this movie has no tricks, no cgi, no special effects, it's a low budget indie flick costing about $15K to make.
of course you can see it on DVD soon enough but you won't get the effects of the audio and the audiences energy that feeds your fear.
